@mdamasco: Considering that before the 70's you'd get arrested and forced in to "treatment" to "cure" you from being gay at Prison hospitals in about every state barring California... Yeah if Steve were a gay it wouldn't surprise at all though I'm kind of tired of this recent "everybody's a gay" thing already. So let's hope it's just because his such a good & loyal friend.

They're brothers in war, not freaking gay. Captain America isn't gay.

@phocracker: Yes, our Steve Rogers, Captain America, from Universe 616 isn't gay, for sure. But this Steve Rogers, is not "classic" Steve Rogers. He isn't neither Captain America, since in to a flashback was showed that Sam Wilson was Captain America before he take the superserum, and now Steve is called simply The Captain. Also, both Steve and Bucky have been showned of same age even before they use superserum or go to war or other thing...

Is a very different story, so pheraps this Steve Rogers may be gay...

This series is making me into a fan of Devil Dinosaur.

@medulaoblaganda: I absolutly dosen't know if this Steve Rogers is gay or not, and I also think he is not. But I was stating that since he is a whole different character, not the "regular" Steve Rogers, he MAY be gay, since no prove has been done in only two issue neither for the yes or no :)

Anyway, I've had a "strange feeling" reading the dialogue between him and Bucky in the flashback in the issue n. 2, and yes, they give me the idea that they are more "romantic" than our classic "brother in war" Cap & Bucky.

My feeling may be wrong, or may be right. With two issue is impossible to say :) but in any case it's important to remember that this Steve Rogers is not our "standard" Steve, and so anything is possible :)

@thatlyn_yoaeg_ill_rymmin: what did cap said about bucky that made you make you think he might be gay?

@medulaoblaganda: Really nothing, but I don't know... something in the art, in the face mode of Steve and Bucky, I don't know...the page of their dialogue in issue n. 2 had given me a different "vibe", than other similar scene dosen't give me... I've not thinked "ehy, maybe they are gay"... simply the scene and dialogue and face and other thing give me more the "feel" of "Love" than that of "Brotherood"...

But really, I dosen't cared about that, till @mdamasco and @phocracker talked about that. Till now, we have only the fact that Steve and Bucky was very close before some war [from issue 2] and that they fight a war togheter [from issue 1]. So perhaps they are simply very strong "brother in war" [or simply, very strong friend], but I can't exclude the hypotesis that they are a couple :)

@thatlyn_yoaeg_ill_rymmin: I understand the varietys of Doomworld. Still, Captain America isn't gay, or should I say, Gladiator Rogers isn't gay.

Definitely seems gay to me as well. Which is fine. Great story.
