God, that Bendis dialogue is so friggin' bad. Oh, two villains fighting while the hero gets away? Never seen that before....

@sprior93: What is it about Bendis that turns everyone so cynical? The dialogue is absolutely fine. It's not Robinson levels of camp, Hopeless levels of cringe, or Lobdell levels of crap. There's nothing wrong with it.

why does Apocalypse call him Wolverine? the AoA Logan went by the codename Weapon X

not to mention the fact that Aoa Apocalypse rocked some red on his costume, maybe thats not the AoA Apocalypse... or maybe im jus read too much into that point

@jaken7: Personally, I think people just hold Bendis, or some writing in general, in very high regard so when they see something kind of mediocre or an issue in his writing they make it a bigger deal than it is. I mean, I feel like a lot of his energy over the years has gone into his more favorited books. I was rereading some Ultimate Spider-Man the other day and the dialogue was beautifully done so I would expect to be equally blown away by his other books but that's not always the case, like some of the things he does in Guardians or All-New X-Men. It can also be a task to see where he's going with things. I really liked Uncanny but I read most of it in one huge sitting and wouldn't have liked it otherwise. Recently Ultimate End has been a very difficult book for many, myself included, to piece together where things are going without the entire story. I'm not the greatest fan of Old Man Logan (or Wolverine in general), but I've been reading this book and incrementally enjoying it more. In this case I don't think the writing is terrible, but in these few preview pages there seems to be some less than needed dialogue and maybe one inconsistency (the "Baron Doom" thing), which is something that people wouldn't expect to see in one of BMB's passion projects. But that's just my take on the matter, just a case of reality not meeting expectations and that putting a bad taste in their mouths.

CHRIST I wish they'd stop splitting the two-page spreads like that. Makes the previews incredibly annoying to read.

@kid_apollo: this isn't the same age of apocalypse. That universe was destoryed. So there are little differences.

This apocalypse could be somehow connected to the actual apocalypse. After all his fate was never shown. But I doubt marvel would make that connection.
