Looks like Strange summoned one of the angled ones to attack? Shuma gorath's native species.

Beings that look like Shuma are poping up every now. There was one that looks similar to what Strange summons in the Guardian of the Galaxy 18 issue that involves what happened in the cancerverse with Thanos, Quill and Nova. Seeing Quill and Gamora on an alt cover makes me wonder if that's a connection to what happens in GOTG 18.

Well that is one way to end a fight.
