Good to see the Republic Clones/Clone Wars Era again. Even if their about to stab everyone in the back.

Would he be the last Padawan? Doesn't he take a Padawan of his own in Rebels? Also wasn't Luke a padawan to Obi-Wan?

Ok I guess they're referring to the last one when the Jedi was still an Order but still...

YES! The art for this rules. Even more excited for this cause Kanan is great.

@mchotcakes@wardog2alpha It's actually kind of funny how many Jedi survived Order 66 in the EU. The Clones were very incompetent.

this book looks great. i was really excited for a new young jedi story. and a killer female jedi master?YESPLZ!!!

Looks good, I really need to start reading Marvels star wars books

Might be a prequel but I'm super excited for the fact that they're treading somewhat original ground. I really enjoy Rebels and am very glad Marvel is doing something with it. Really excited for their first work since the acquisition that treads new ground.

Man, that art looks awesome! I've loved Star Wars: Rebels and enjoyed Star Wars: A New Dawn (the prequel book to Rebels). Kanan has quickly become one of my favorite Star Wars characters, so I'm excited to see more of what transformed him from young Padawan to mysterious rebel Jedi Knight.

I think they mean he's the last Padawan of the old Jedi Order. The new Padawans like Ezra and Luke would be Padawans of the new Jedi Order following the collapse of the old.

From what I'm aware, because he was still a Padawan when Order 66 took place and because his master was killed, he was never officially made a Jedi Knight. Even though like in Rebels he is considered one, even taking on his own Padawan, he's really a more self-proclaimed Jedi Knight. So in a technical sense he still is a Padawan, which would further the whole "Last Padawan" title of this series.
