Alright, I'm going to assume they're gone. As you know, Catwoman was allegedly killed in the last issue and since then we've all have our theories on why we think Selina Kyle is actually still alive (you know, aside from appearing on upcoming solicit covers). Today, DC has released a preview of the next issue and it's quite revealing. Check it out below and see if you can solve what happened.

Actually its not Martian Manhunter. As the man in the purple said her team mates are fighting Shaggy Man as shown in the last issue, and Martian Manhunter is with them. So whatever brought Catwoman back with boiling blood and glowing red eye should be really intresting.

Man, this preview is a major spoiler...And I can't wait for all of the people who went apesh*t over Catwoman's "death" to read this. Silly rabbits, they should know deaths in comics mean very little.

Proof It's not martian manhunter

I think he is in fact the Joker because of the "ha" and he DOES know batman's "adress", as this was the whole point of DOTF

I think in this case the "death" was valid, and it's not a case of comic book death, because it was written not as an actual death, but as a cliffhanger ending, a shock twist, without the intent of actually killing off the character and then deciding "oh, now let's bring her back".

I was thinking the pasty guy was actually Alfred from earth 3. Wasn't that the crime syndicate earth? He might have been jokerised at some point. And as for Catwoman- Martian Manhunter or perhaps, less likely, a red lantern?

If Catwoman really was or is dead, Batman would solo all of them plus the JlA cause it's there fault.

This much was obvious. So where are all those people who were standing on their soap boxes blabbing about the unfair treatment of women in comics, "Selina got fridged wah wah boo hoo."

Tell that to the wave of fans that made angry blogs about how killing characters for shock is becoming unbearable, and the constant "No, DC, you suck! I love Selina" comments. I knew she wasn't ''dead'' or at least wasn't gonna stay that way, yet people instantly went up in arms over it.

The Catwoman impostor is probably Darkseid's daughter.

i was sad when i saw catwoman was shot, Now im sad knowing that catwoman is officially "dead" :(

@bumburger: I'm pretty sure she isn't... Unless you mean it in the way that she isn't like the pre52 Catwoman that is.

@redqueen: It's most likely some kind of shape shifter, or a surprise addition to the team that's been kept under wraps. I'd like to think it's the latter, but I'm pretty sure someone would've let that slip in this digital age

I just realized catwoman's injury is healing. interesting... not exactly sure what could cause blood to flow back into the gunshot wound.

It seems unlikely, but it sort of has the same appearance as a red lantern. Their blood does boil. But why/how/when would the context have been built for this?

The art is pretty crappy

I want to know what's gonna happen next. Did she get her hands on some new tech. And if that is Manhunter, I want to know what he did.

In the Free Comic Book Day we saw the red/black room (not sure which) and in one of them there was a red lantern power battery, so hmmmm....
