• Let's just hope he keeps their attention long enough for the other Guardians to bust him out...

This was a good story. Not the best.

Got to love Peter's description of the embodiments of the universe.

"Elevated" eh? I always wanted to know more about the after effects of wearing the infinity gauntlet. If Pip the troll can teleport without the need of a gem, what about someone who became the supreme being? I guess we saw some of that in Adam Warlock in his Guardians of the Galaxy run. What was it he called himself, quantum magician?

Doesn't look terrible, but I'm not 100% sold on it.

"Adopted Granddaughter" is that a thing? Not hating, just curious.

I'm not really sure what's the purpose of re-launching this digital-exclusive comic as paper version but since its a fun little story I don't really mind, but I won't buy it since I already have the 85-page digital version.

@sinikettu: So it can be bought physically and shared.

@xwraith: It's a fun little story and it's still cheaper online ($2.99). Anyhow, as Teerack said, it's okay but definitely not the best ever. Well, they rarely are anyway.

@xwraith: Yeah, it's one of those infinity comics with which Marvel tried more interactive digital comics.

Huh, just the preview itself is better than the actual main GOTG title. I swear, Bendis is the albatross around that book's neck, keeping it from being the fun cosmic book it should be, more akin to what we're seeing here, with the cosmic abstract entities & Pete & RR humorous dialogue concerning such.

@xwraith: Yes, it just doesn't read "Best Story Ever" on the cover page but simply "GotG - Marvel Infinite Comics - 001", see here. Then there is another digital first four-part mini focusing on Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot respectively. All four are one-shots and self-conclusive stories, and featuring gorgeous art especially the Groot one-shot (illustrated by Michael Del Mundo).
