The art in this issues is pretty nice, especially Gamora's cloak.

I just realized... even though Bendis is leading the x-men after this event he has effectively stolen Kitty from the x-men since she now lives in space with Peter.

I have to say I was surprised by how strong this event started. I'm super interested in seeing where this goes.

star-lord's dialogue seems pretty good. Don't know why everyone hates bendis on this book

@nfareed71024: Well it's mainly because of the 'plodding way' Bendis has handled the overall plot and tends to ignore established characterisation and continuum from time to time for no apparent reason but laziness.

It becomes apparent when you compare the V2 and V3 side by side now that both runs have equal amount of issues.

Looks like Gamora reverted back to her Annihilation look. (And powerset, maybe)

@ms-lola: Agreed, I've been waiting for the time to see Gamora really shine again. That Maxillin guy -It was such a low ball-writing on someone like Gamora that after those issues I wasn't even sure if Gamora could ever beat anything but mooks at all anymore under Bendis' pen.

@sinikettu: Haha, I know, right? Typing out "Thank you, Bendis," almost felt painful but seeing these panels have soothed me. Somewhat. Let's hope things continue on in this vein.

@ms-lola: Yeah let's. His last issues have shown some notable improvement so maybe his finally getting the hang of it?
