Cool!

Does anyone know how long this series will be?
It's supposed to be just a mini, right?

That's what I wanted to hear. I wouldn't want this to become boring at some point - better to keep it short and maybe have another mini later on.

Yeah, what CurrentThor2015 said. It's probably a mini that lasts until SW event ends at October or maybe a little sooner. So probably anything between 4 to 8 issues.

While this book has been fun and its art is simply charming, I doubt it would have had the longevity to go much further before becoming repetitive.

Yes, 4 to 8 sounds okay.

Let's just hope after Rocket, Groot, and Drax will come Gamora('s own (limited) series). :P

@donfelipe: It was announced at last October and at least then it was to be written by Nichole Pearlman and to be released at fall of 2015. I hope Marvel hasn't abandoned this since I haven't noticed it at late 2015 solicit lists.

@sinikettu: Perhaps it's a good sign Gamora doesn't seem to be a main member of the post-Secret Wars Guardians team, meaning it'll be more likely (than ever) she's finally getting her own series. We'll see...

@donfelipe: Yeah at least she'll finally stop jobbing... I'm getting very tired of that constant Worf-effect on her.

@sinikettu: Worf Effect... hehe, I like the sound of it but I know what you mean. Characters like Gamora or Valiant's Eternal Warrior should not get worf'ed all the time. It sucks!

@donfelipe: Yeah, though it's a simple and effective way of showing the threat level of a new enemy, it easily gets very repetitive and the way Bendis has been writing Gamora... Pretty much every new two-bit nothing villain has punched her out or squared even with her like a clock almost every damn time.

I wonder which of the three 'strong arms' in the new GOTG-team is going to get the honours now that Gamora is gone? Groot, Drax or Thing? I don't include Venom since Bendis doesn't write him as brawler.
