She really doesn't mind that this is the guy who speared Phantom Lady in the chest and murdered her? Or is that simply something everyone's forgotten?

Art is great, story looks ok. But if the Lepatus is there to kill amazons I'm not rooting against him given how they've murdered and raped their way through ships at sea for centuries.

You seem to be aware of the New 52 continuity, as you mention the deeds of the amazons, so why are you mixing it up with the pre-Flashpoint one?

this is the only DC comic I read. It hasn't been terrible so far but still. this baddie better stay around a while since he is so bad ass according WW. If he is defeated in the annual i may stop reading deathstroke.

This is a very pretty issue, great artwork, lots of vibrant colors.

Because with the way DC has structured the continuity I'm not sure which is in play so I assume that both are. That and the fact that there is no PL currently in the dcu leads me to conclude that she's still dead and that Deadshot killed her. Not that anyone has really minded either then or now. I guess what it really comes down to is that Diana is teaming up with a stone cold killer and after this is over she'll let him walk away to kill other people. I'd like life to mean something in the dcu and I don't see that when killers suffer no consequences from what they do, either amazons or killers for hire like Deathstroke.

That aside, I fully agree with what you say. Killers literally get away with murder in fiction. Harley Quinn is the most egregious example, as we're supposed to find her cute and funny, when she's just a female Joker who's more pleasant to look at.

Sorry, I'd forgotten about her. And you are right, it irritates me that so many bad guys get off because their marketing value is greater than any idea of justice. I can take Harley if view her comic as I'd view Bomb Queen or another such parody. At least in her own title or in the title she's in with Power Girl. Harley to me is the Joker without the malice in those titles, it's almost like the Adams Family. But the Suicide Squad and the rest... The cynicism is terrible. And at the time I was upset that the Freedom Fighters were take out, their bodies hung on the Washington Monument and no one cared. Only months later did Black Canary get a shot at Deathstroke and she was the only one.

At the end of this Deathstroke will walk away, it's his title after all and that means that he's got a license to kill. Diana will probably have to go the 'He is a warrior to be respected route, even if I disprove of him.' Then again since her sisters have been slicing and dicing sailors through the ages it's not like she can throw stones at him if he goes back to the Suicide Squad.

@donmeca2020: I know, that's why I mostly DC and only keep up with marvel on the reviews. In marvel in my opinion the only difference between the good guys and the bad guys is that the good guys have better PR.
