meh, overrated series/writer imo. (don't hit me in the face)

Great it's out. Maybe DC will stop shoving it down our throats now. I was so done with this before it even came out! Over rated with no substance and weight.

This series is going to be awesome. Miller never holds back with this darkness or the grittiness, this is how batman was always supposed to be written IMO, given that the used to brutally murder his criminals in this 40s. Can't wait.

Guess im in the minority excited for this.Pretty funny people call it overrated,the same could be said about their favorite films/comics,yet they will throw a hissy fit over that too XD

My only dislike is the colors. The DKR series had a very particular color pattern because of Varley.

I trully feel I have seen the whole first issue with all the previews and peeks.

I have to admit, that's a very interesting way to start the story. The visuals tell you exactly what's happening and the chat leading to the snapshots... brilliant.

Okay, so I have held off on The Dark Knight Strikes Again for years now. I didn't want it to spoil my opinion of the masterpiece that is DKR. But I thought, what the heck, I better read it before the 3rd one comes out. I am by no means a Miller fan boy, but I gotta say, DKSA was not near as bad as people make it out to be. I actually really enjoyed it, but I will admit it fell short of DKR greatness. With that being said, can't wait to read this tonight! But honestly (and trust me, I know I'm in the minority here) I'd rather see Miller's art in this book. It fits the tone of his stories so well. Messy, Gritty, Etc..

I think the artwork is probably the main problem for a lot of people.

Spot on with the review! Even though other sites spoiled the last page, still found the stories setup intriguing.

Looks like Batman is getting in on that PC action, about time.
