Okay, have to admit it but I'm getting slightly confused with so many 'same' but different characters in these issues.

Cant stand the art nor the horrible costume, the story has been surprisingly interesting so far though.

Why is Marvel still trying to force this after it's been failing for so long? Is Kelly Sue DeConnick independently wealthy and privately funding Marvel to publish this book for her?

1. Bring back Carol's black costume

2. Sell tons of books

3. ???

4. Profit

@daedalus25: This is a prime example of what I am always arguing about with the direction of female characters. There is this trend of pushing female heroes towards gender neutrality. The attempts to appease a vocal few who claim to be 'offended' by female heroes being depicted as beautiful and shapely has also served to alienate long time comic fans.

In a sense, DC and Marvel are equivalently turning their backs on a 100,000 loyal readers in the hope of possibly picking up 500 new ones.

This looks like an indie LBGT web-comic, not like a new series for Marvel's marquee female hero.
