You know for most books I think DC's new coloring style has really hurt the art of several series, but here it's really working for it.

I like the art and the coloring... I just don't know how I feel about it on a bat family member. I guess I still haven't gotten over the fact that they de-aged her so drastically. Hard to believe that this use to be The Oracle

@truemarvel: Well that's why it's nice, it's not dark and gloomy like all the other Bat books, it gives us something different.

Also they didn't de-age her, she just looks younger because of the art style

The only reason I'm buying this is because of the artist. I don't mind the story but I never bothered to buy it because I didn't like the art. I love this artist now.

Is Babs new BF Luke Fox? or is there coupling something to do with this villain?

I read the first story line and enjoyed the art but the story line is just try to hard to appeal to young hipsters for me.

Bengal is an excellent fill-in artist for Babs Tarr on this book, but he's gotten good enough that he should have his own ongoing book somewhere. This looks excellent.

Velvet Tiger better pull up that skirt if she is going to be in any prolonged fight. Restricts leg movement.

They honestly make a cute couple. That cover art is so hipster but in an awesome way.

My one question is why is the Black dude kissing Batgirl, he looks gay.

Still missing the good ol' Oracle O.o

Batgirl went to trash after she moved to the hipster part of Gotham that totally should exist in a dark city like Gotham with heroes like Batman and villains like Joker in it.

I didnt know Luke Fox was in this book. Him and Babs dating is kind of cool. They both are bats, and they live in the same city, and around the same age.

I kinda read Batgirl with my mind shut off. The storylines aren't really doing it for me, but I do like the art even though it took me a while to get into.

cool art. too bad its being wasted on this book.
