.....What's the point of even posting this? seriously, I don't get why marvel wants to release a preview.... with no preview

And it's funny 'cos New Avengers and Avengers are the only titles that I'd love to see previews for. Well at least I won't get spoiled ahead of time.
@mightymodok: Ironically, i don't think that they did. I could be wrong but i'm sure that i've read somewhere that they paid Hitch for the artwork to use it...
@thor_parker82: The Ultimates on the cover... the ultimate avengers were superhuman the black ops team of shield that came after the wrath of Jeph Loeb
@captainmarvel4ever: yet you and a whole bunch of others have clicked on it even though it clearly says "no preview." As for why post it, to remind people it's coming out, to get a chance to see the different covers, to give people a place to talk about the issue before it comes out, etc.
Just because you don't like or agree with something, doesn't mean other people feel the same way. All these issues leading up to Secret Wars haven't had previews and Marvel has stated several times it'll be this way to prevent readers getting spoiled. I think that's great and kind bold since some will get 'upset' at not seeing a preview or have an incentive to pick it up.
I love the fact that they are not releasing any previews or solicitations for this story. I wish more books did this. It's nice not knowing just about every detail of a story months before it hits the stands.
So weird. I remember buying Ultimates#1 when it came out and now it's on the cover of the REAL Avengers book O_o
Indeed! if I remember correctly in an interview on CBR, Axel Alonso tipped his hat and said this issue is about events on 1610 and those characters, hence the cover homage.
Edit: I loved Hickmans run on the Ultimates with evil Reed and the City, the ending of the arc was a little weak but it was a good run.
I figured the No Preview in the title and the fact the cover was an old one meant something bigger and/or more sinister was going on. Like the site posted a preview that was then taken back by Marvel because of changes or something.
Wake me up when the universe gets rebooted and we have more than a half dozen Spider-people running around.
~KL~
On the second cover I can identify Rogers, Stark, Richards, McCoy, van Dyne, and Vision - anyone have any idea who the top-left two folks are?
@novemberx2: That´s right, thanks
