Ahhhh this looks like it's gonna be really good!

Between this and Descender, it'll be a good week for Lemire fans. Oh and totally grabbing a blank variant. My wall is begging for a Hawkeye sketch.

Can't wait, I just hope he tries to differentiate this run from Matt Fraction's take on the character (at least a little bit)

I think he will. I see this book bouncing back and forth between superhero action and heartfelt character moments. Possibly some flashbacks. I said it early on and I stand by it. We've yet to see Jeff Lemire's best work for hire stuff.

Can't wait to pick this up. I will always love what Franction and Aja did with Hawkeye, but I'm looking forward to see what Lemire has in store.

Animal Man was really good and probably my favorite Lemire stuff that isn't creator owned. I'll be happy if this Hawkeye finds a way to be better than that.

The art could be better some of the moving shots look really awkward but other than that looks fine. I guess him being deaf didn't last long.

Let's bope this actually comes out on time every month. I just find it weird this is coming out before the end of Fractions run since we have one issue left in it

Wow. I'm pretty sure I'm madly in love with that second variant cover. The one with Kate and Clint together. That needs to be a poster.

The dialog is great in these panels, and the art is really unique and quirky (Clint running through the panel border). Man, my only complaint with these pages is the voice bubble in the bottom of page 3 looks like it's pointing to Clint instead of Kate (though context clears it up... still awkward placement).

This is gonna be great.

LOL, wow. I know we all joked about it happening, but I can't believe this really is debuting before Fraction's book is completed.

Feels really different than Fraction's run and I'm glad that's the case. The pacing seems excellent and the dialogue between Katie and Clint feels natural and true to their characters. I've heard nothing but good things about Lemire and his work, I am excited to pick this up, and hope this pays off for both him and Marvel.

Darn it, why does Kate's costume still have those side cut-outs on the waist? I was hoping they'd get rid of that. Otherwise, this certainly looks to be a pretty fun and amusing book.

The "banter" feels kinda forced. Definitely giving this a go, though. Really enjoyed most of Fraction/Aja's run. Art looks fantastic.
