So... nice idea for variants. Cover up the art with self-indulgent review quotes. Okay.

These covers all are really ugly. The big red boxes are fine, but all this really doesn't let the cover breathe.

These covers are horrible.

Couldn't they do variants, even just changing the colour schemes like what I saw for the 2nd and 3rd printings of Superior Spider-Man.

It is nice cover variant. They're helping promote these websites. Not everyone knows about the Vine so these variants could potentially bring in new readers and members. Everyone wins except the artists! YAY!

@lykopis: After having seen that one Arkham City cover, I take nothing for granted.

@arturocalakayvee: That'd be true if it actually worked, but unless I'm just really weird and the exception, I've never looked up a review because I saw a box quote from a source.

Also, as a digital reader who has since made the jump to print, seeing a cover like that would just remind me that buying digital means not having to put up with advertising bombardment.
