Marvel's Teases The Future Of UNCANNY

You can't go wrong with the combined talents of Chris Bachalo and Brian Michael Bendis, which is why we're so excited about Marvel's latest UNCANNY teaser. With Rick Remender and John Cassaday on UNCANNY AVENGERS, and Sam Humphries and Ron Garney on UNCANNY X-FORCE, that leaves the possibility of an UNCANNY X-MEN book. Could Bendis and Bachalo be working on UNCANNY X-MEN, or is it something completely new? We think it might be X-Men, and we have a funny feeling that Cyclops may be involved. ANOTHER Bendis book?! So counting Ultimate Spider-Man thats 4 books hes on!!! And we know he cant write teams worth a damn, just keep him on one book or put him on solo books, he proved with Ultimate Spider-Man and his Daredevil run that he works the best on a singular character.

When he does teams EVERY character sounds the same and they have no unique personality to distinguish them.

Best X-men week ever my first comic book series and favorite comic is coming back. I didn't think it would be too long before it came back. And Singer has the X-film under his hands again.

Bendis is writing it, And Chris Bachalo has written X-men stuff in the past So im going to assume that the Uncanny title will be another X-men title since Bendis is already writing the main X-men title.

I think this Uncanny X-men will probably feature the rest of the extinction team X-men that didn't join the Avengers.

I mea look at the title, it look like Cyclops Beam...Maybe this team will have mutants who still believe that Cyclops dream is possible.

I thought the far left part of that combined X-men cover made it pretty obvious that there would be another team. Can't wait to see what this team will be up to and if Cyke will or even wants to redeem himself in some way. Cyclops has always been my favorite X-man, but he was pretty messed up for awhile so I cant wait to see this new beginning for him. Ill definitely be checking this out.

Cool. Someone at Marvel (I forgot who) said at NYCC that there would be another X-Men book featuring Cyclop's team. I guess this is it. I hope it's good.

I've hated everything I ever read from Fraction until Hawkeye. I think I'm just going to wait and see what Bendis puts out.

This better be the Extinction Team. They were my favorites, all bundled into a team.

FUCK YEA, i was extremely upset when they canceled uncanny X men and gave the "uncanny" to the Avengers, i am not familiar with Bendis but i love Bachelo and hes been an artist with the x men since the 90's so yes i am very very eager for this title

I hope it is a Cyclops team...though I was l hoping they were gonna make Cyclops a hero again and have him join one of the Avengers teams... then maybe after awhile make him a teacher at the Jean Grey Institute (But not the leader/head of the team/school, just a member.)

Though after the events of AvX: Consequences 4, it seems like things are headed in a different direction.

Seriously if the word 'uncanny' gets attached to any more Marvel books then I'm out for life. Unless it's Uncanny She-Hulk.

You can't have 3 books named 'Uncanny'. It's not good marketing. You need one book. You can call it 'The Uncanny X-Men.'

Makes sense that they're making another X-book. Cyclops has his own team, Wolverine's got the school, the original X-Men are coming back from the past, and there are gonna be a lot of new mutants. It would be hard to fit them in just two books. However, I HATE the fact that Chris Bachalo is doing the art. No disrespect to him, but his art always looks like garbage. The fact that his art looks even more 'cartoony' than most other artists isn't even my biggest problem with him. My biggest problem is that there are always numerous panels in his issues where you'll absolutely no idea what is going on in them. His work in WATXM drove me nuts. Issue 2 in particular made me so mad. In the story, a Krakoa monster was attacking, those stupid Bamfs were all over the place, the building was being destroyed, and then those even stupider Frankenstein showed up; and Bachalo thought he could fit squeeze all those elements into each singular panel in the issue. I had no f**king idea what was going on. Even looking at the context around those insane panels didn't help.

Screw all you guys who hate the X-Books!

its the Uncanny Xavier's Chair!!! 28 pages of it gathering dust as a single shaft of light travels across the room daily! be there for the epic confrontation between the Wheel-chair and the Hoover-chair!

I saw this coming. Marvel will give Bendis all of the X-men books now. I think it's much better when you spread out the writers so its not just one dude writing the entire Avengers line, but clearly I don't see eye to eye with the head honchos at Marvel.

I've never been a huge Bendis fan. I liked the initial run of Ultimate Spidey. I heard enough mixed things about his Avengers books to steer clear of them. I will give him a chance with All New X-men, but more than likely I'm gonna be really choosy with X-men for a while. Shame. Hopefully he doesn't take over Wolverine and the X-men, my friend will be pissed if he does.

What? I'm getting All New X-men Marvel you can't keep shelling out books that have my favorite characters in them and expect me to pay. I have a budget you know... Ah screw the budget I'll try it out.
