Namor is trying to be more like emma with his clothes.
Thank you!
i think for a while Marvel needs to let the phoenix rest, im over it now, unless they plan on bringing back Jean Grey, i don't wanna read anything else dealing with the phoenix force

Nightwing with Cyclops visor, Thor's hammer, and Cap's shield.
I was just thinking the same thing.
Awsome YES! our time has come!!! the avengers shall fall :). I like this, but holding cap shield cyke you have gone way to far now plus look at the background nothing but ash and fire. This needs to stop getting WAY out of control.

As much as i don't like this event, it's quite refreshing to see Cyclops holding both Captain America's Shield and Thor's Mijolnir. Considering what happened last issue, he's already proven himself worthy to weild the two weapons and then some. Thor isn't even fit enough for that title considering what happened in #6.
I loled when Thor gut punched a sixteen year old kid and tried kidnapping Hope. These actions make you "worthy"?
I feel like knowing that all this phoenix power and pax utopia will only last a few more issues kinda ruins the series a tiny tiny tiny bit. But issue 6 was still good.
Sweet it's The New New Deadpool Corps, the old new Deadpool Corps being the Uncanny X-force and well we all remember the classic deadpool corps.

Please let Cyclops die at the end of this please!
Ditto! His costume is digusting, and I've always hated him anyway!

Quite right, exactly the reason why i said what i said.
I am just so sick of all this infighting. And so far it looks like there won't be proper explanations as to how the Phoenix Power will react to the Cytorrak possession in Colossus, if the Avengers hinted at the covers will die or not and how this is going to reshape the whole of Marvel Universe.
All this is like a very bad attempt at the DC's New 52.

Y'know!? It's about time I say! I know that Cykes isn't everyone's favorite character but the man gets results! If Doom can hold Mijolnir then dangit!, so can Cyclops!
First of, he won't be using either the shield or the hammer. They are there to symbolize a defeat (if only temporary) of both Cap and Thor, and by extension the Avengers. Just look at the condition of both weapons. Dents, chinks and chunks broken off, neither is meant to look battle worthy but as trophies from defeated enemies. Also, it could be used to symbolize a defeat of both S.H.E.I.L.D. and H.A.M.M.E.R. tho I don't think they thought that far into it (but how cool would it be if they took advantage of the duel meanings)
The further this goes the less I see Cyke coming out of this alive. If he does live, it certainly won't be a graceful fall from power. I can get that he wants to help his people, but the methods he's chosen have made him seem like Magneto Jr. Separating mutants from non mutants won't help people understand each other. The less exposure either people has with the other, the more confusion concerning them they will have. The more confusion, the more fear. The more fear, the more tension.
Seriously how is stacking almost every mutant on their own little ominously floating island supposed to ease the minds of the ignorant who already fear mutants?
If he lives through this, I hope he realizes how far off the edge he went and he decides to take a sabbatical as leader to get his mind and priorities in order.

True Mjolnir & Cap's shield could symbolize that both S.H.I.E.L.D. & H.A.M.M.E.R. have been defeated. plus Utopia is basically the new Genosha.
Couple of point.
1 caps shield got busted up in fear itself.
2 what's with emma feet on the cover.
3 maybe the red under wear is because cyke and dick look a little to alike.

It's interesting that Cyclops is holding Mijolnir! Hopefully this happens in the comic itself, and thus confirming that Cyclops is a worthy man. It's a nice way of showing the Avengers that he knows what he's doing.
I wonder if Namor will die? He goes out of control, Cyclops is forced to end him, thus beginning the Emma vs. Cyclops clash. Could happen.
good point and emma frost goes dark phoenix.....will she die too??? or will jean save her from the phoenix like in phoenix endsong
"Hey guys I think we should try to pull off some sort of Nightwing and Cyclops hybrid character."
"How are we going to do that?"
"We make Cyclops be possessed by the Phoenix Force."
"How are we going to get that approved?"
"Three words. Avengers Versus X-Men."
lol xD Thats how this event came to be. lol
