With Secret Wars messing everything up right now, the big question is, what happens after? We already know the Ultimate Universe is gone and somehow Miles Morales will be integrated into the core universe. What does this mean for his history and that of everyone else?

This is all Marvel is saying right now.

No Caption Provided

The rumbling is, after Secret Wars, we'll see a new status quo but I believe it will all be eight months after. So we won't see what happens immediately after Secret Wars. There'll likely be flashbacks but this will give the books a chance to jump into the action without having re establish or re-establish everything. We just don't really know what continuity and history will carry over from before.

Speculate below.

Please just don't let All-New, All-Different will be the adjectives on all/most titles. It already looks ridiculous enough for the Avengers book.

Rumors say they will leave the earth because the Inhuman mists are killing them.

So that means the books that I'll be collecting (Old Man Logan, X-Men '92, Civil War) will be on-going books?

Something I thought I would NEVER say, I'll worry what comes after later, right now I'm loving Secret Wars and the tie-ins I've read so far. I'm actually in no hurry for this event to end. Though I will miss regular issues of Ant-Man.

I don't want "all-different," I want to see my favorite characters return to being the characters I love reading them as. Like Steve Rogers as Captain America again, Tony Stark to be a normal jerk rather than a "superior" one, Thor Odinson back to being THOR again, etc. I don't mind them shaking things up to try new stories out every once and a while, but at some point I would like to see them return things to how they should be. This all "all-new, all different" just sounds like more of what Marvel is already doing... Which is fine for a time, but I honestly was hoping that things would begin to return to the normal status quo following Secret Wars, not more of the same stuff we're getting right now...

O Big Two comics and your desire to never let there be contempltion about the present or recent past, always pushing on towards the future never letting things simply rest. It's this kind of marketing that makes me feel event fatigue, Secret Wars is 2 issues in, we've got another 4 months (this'll begin in October) it isn't like solicits for October aren't due till July.

Looks like if the X-Men are leaving Earth, then the Inhumans will be taking over soon enough. At least, Morales will be in 616.

Honestly, tje All-New All-Different will wear down for the overuse .____.

Anyway, I checked the All-New All-Different Avengers and I liked it. I know change is hard, I like routine like every other person. But what the hell, the one thing that doesnt chage about life is that always change sooo... we may see or heroes and villains like in old-times (which actually I have some exceptions) or don't.

Let's just wait, and then we're gonna express complains that will be never heard or that Marvel won't care about .___.

Ah, all new and all different. Good to know. Wait, aren't half the titles already called that?

Honestly I hope they don't change much. 616 plus a few good characters from other universes.

The story lines you mentioned have been going roughly 8 issues.

I think you'll be ok.

I'm guessing it'll just be mostly the normal 616 universe, but with a smudge of 1610 thrown in here or there. And probably a smidgeon more Inhuman territory. I do think it's weird how in an effort to make the inhumane more popular, marvel is just copying what they did with the x-men not two years ago. With Black Bolt serving as the cyclops for that world, and the cry for more mutant or whatever at the end of AvX being replaced by the Terrigen Mist. Even so much as calling Black Bolts team the "Uncanny" team.

Well said. Their new promotion "All-New, All-Different" made me a little uneasy from the get-go, and I wasn't quite sure why until after reading this.

For instance, one of the great things about indie comics is how the writers are offered pretty much an infinite amount of creative freedom, without being tied down by having to maintain any sort of status quo. It is what makes them a lot more enjoyable for me compared to comics from DC or Marvel - but at the same time, there's a point when "shaking things up" just gets tiring when applied to the Big Two.

Because, like you said, we want to see our favorite characters return to being the characters we love reading them as.

Ultimately, change seems to be good in small doses. Anything more than that and it just gets dull.
