Marvel's INFINITY #1 Sells Out - 2nd Print On The Way

@the_mast: I'm sure there are people who grasp Hickman's Avengers and simply aren't into it, but this backlash is very telling. I've seen it happen with other high-concept pieces of work.

So, my summary is that most people don't like Hickman's Avengers because they're probably not smart enough. If that offends you then there's probably a reason for that. There's always been a trend where people feel offended if they don't get something. They blame the product, not themselves. Just like parents who blame video games, rather than actually putting effort into raising kids right.

Hickman's writing is not cluttered or poorly organised, it just requires YOU to put intellectual effort in. If you can do this and still dislike it, cool. Fair. Just don't sit there blaming the book because you can't raise your game. That's not Hickman's fault.

Infinity was a perfect start. It felt exciting even though it was a warm-up because Hickman has prepared us for exciting, non-action comic writing throughout N.A. This event will essentially be a cross between both. It's everything BUT cluttered and poorly planned.

Hickman, as usual, delivers. I really wish this was a Peter Parker, Spider-Man in this event.

It was good, but not as good as Trinity War.

@br_havoc: I actually heard the latest issue of Batman outsold Infinity. I don't think DC has anything to worry about. They have had really good sales since the New 52.

I thought all of this was determined by pre-order and not actual sales.

@caladorcp: DC's sales have been up and down. Batman sells well but the sales of Unchained that have helped them break out of their slump in the market share is involved in my opinion simple because they slap so many variants on the book and there are stacks on stacks everywhere of that book. What I have an issue with is how DC tries to pad their sales with gimmicks like Villains Month or throwing way too many variants on a series that would of sold well anyway.

I not sure why though the plot is very complex and is hard to understand there really isnt much to take from individual characters
