Marvel Reveals Final Members of The MIGHTY

Yesterday Marvel revealed two members of the MIGHTY, a group of heroes that will step up when the Avengers are off planet trying to defeat a new galactic threat. Today they have revealed the final two members. Care to make a guess who you think they are?

wow!!! seriously marvel just pit together a dream team for me this cant get here fast enough! some of these characters are vastly underused,im glad that stops now..great move by marvel. i just want this book now. please give the book a all star team. help it succeed. but im conflicted; on one hand, An all-star team doesn't necessarily help a book succeed.

Look at Defenders, for example. It featured a lot of fan-favorite characters that people always say they want to see more of: Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, Namor, Silver Surfer. It started out with a big-name creative team, and brought in some other popular artists even after Terry Dodson left. That book was cancelled after twelve issues.

on the other hand honestly, i just dont wan them messing up this opportunity. its just making me light up at all the possibilities. now that i really think abut it, i would rather have a writer/artiest combo who really care about these character and will bring interesting stories to the fore front. than a all star team who leaves after 8 issues.

Really excited for this team.. It is really a diverse cast. True the powersets arent but the characters are, and thats whats important. I'm really excited for White Tiger, She Hulk, and Blue Marvel.

I'll admit that I have no idea who some of these characters are. As for the ones I do know, I haven't really read any of their issues. This actually makes me pretty intrigued. These don't seem to be mainstream characters that everyone and their mom knows about. I might pick this up just to see what the other side of Marvel looks like.

Well there goes my latest hope of seeing Monica Rambeau get a recurring role in a series. :/

I can't say I'm super-excited about it, but I do like She-Hulk, and Luke Cage is pretty cool, so I'll at least give it a go.

I guess I was wrong about the Guardians.

I like how they are using more unknown characters.

@mutant_god: that would be a intretsing team but its Luke Cage, Superior Spiderman, Blue Marvel, White Tiger, Power man( the new one), and she-hulk. Its been confirmed

Based on the fact this has the new Power Man it'd make more sense for it to be Iron Fist instead of Luke Cage.

A team where the majority of members are people of color? Welcome to the 21st century comics! No surprise that this is a Marvel book and not a DC one. I am so excited for this series now.

@nappystr8: people will still hate this book simply because of that fact. its sad and i hate that mentality.but this is why i like marvel a little moe than DC.the progressiveness plus black panther lol.

This is a cast of characters I don't care to read, but want to cheer for. I hope that someone truly enjoys this. It feels like Marvel is taking a chance with this. Good luck,

Are you hoping for anyone in particular?

For those of you still guessing, the team is Luke Cage, White Tiger, Power Man, She-Hulk, Blue Marvel, and Scarlet Spider. Nobody has said whether or not it was Spider-Man or Scarlet Spider, but since I'm assuming that it's based on the Avengers comic where the team is in outer space, then it has to be Scarlet Spider because Spider-Man is out in space with the Avengers.

@v_scarlotte_rose: honestly i love this line up. it really made me jump for joy. we have the Blue Marvel, Luke Cage, Power Man and White Tiger on the same team. thats crazy! i love this move. but i do wish my favorite captain marvel Monica Rambeau will join up or help beat thanos in infinity.what about you?

To be fair, DC does have Vibe, Katana, John Stewart, and Batwing solo ongoings now. However, out of that line up only John Stewart is capable of having his own title, while the others are basically out there on their own, set up for failure.

I'm guessing Luke Cage will be leading the team and I'm actually happy that this isn't a predominantly white team like most of the avengers incarnations.

@nappystr8: DC tries to do books with other races. Just most time no ones buys it. Honestly just nothing at Marvel even remotely interests me. I grew up on the cartoons: Spider-Man, X-Men, & Batman. I like a lot of Marvel characters, but just all is kinda lame. I am about to be done with DC also & maybe comics in general. At this point I think I can write better stuff then most of these people.

Based on the videos on newsarama, Luke Cage is the one who gathers everyone together. So I'm guessing he's going to be leader.

Scarlet Spider would have been a better choice.

Agreed, black characters are needed. Although Blue Marvel should lead.

I think Luke will lead seeing as He is the most senior member of the Avengers and having led the team before. Blue Marvel will be the science guy or thor (god like) guy. I think they each fill a role like that image on the inside of each Avengers Issue...
