How many people buy variant covers these days? There are those that try to grab them all but it's really a matter of how cool the variant is, especially if it means forking over extra money. Marvel has revealed another variant for FF #1 by Arthur Adams. I've always been blown away by Adams' work and this one is amazing, as expected. As part of Marvel NOW!, FF joins a number of titles that will take the Marvel Universe in an exciting all-new direction, as the industry’s top creators join the top Super Heroes to deliver all-new ongoing series, great for new and lapsed readers alike!

Great homage. The Miss thing character looks better on this cover :P

This an awesome cover! and I would buy this one over the normal one (if I actually had the money).

Love this cover. She-things looks very good here... but I'd have prefered Crystal on the team :(

#5 Posted by Gonzo33 (124 posts) - - Show Bio

This is 1000 times better looking then the regular cover...

I love how the old cover of Fantastic Four has less cheesy dialogue than the new FF

#10 Posted by Ett (27 posts) - - Show Bio

I really hope this book is going to have light hearted goofy adventures like the Fantastic four did in the beginning.

Arthur Adams. 'Nuff said!

I am excited for this book!

#13 Posted by kid Apollo (740 posts) - - Show Bio

first off the Thing looks like he's made of poop, not rocks.

second off, if a giant monster erupts from the earth, why is Mr. Fantastic tied up?

Certainly seems like it. The preview yesterday got me a little excited for this book. Fraction alone is enough of a draw for me though tbh.

both covers are great! +2

I winder why they are pushing this series so much harder than the other Marvel Now titles. It looks good though.

Still looks lame to me.

I mean, seriously! "Miss Thing"?

#19 Posted by Or35ti (1133 posts) - - Show Bio

I love this cover way more than the standard one. They should make this one standard, it would attract a lot more attention I believe.

Marvel NOW! is bad. I could foster off a thesis upon that sentiment - however the prevailing theme is best boiled down to my first sentence.

#21 Posted by skyjumpermike (153 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm getting this cover for sure! And, everyone needs to get over Miss Thing.

I love this! Adams' art just made me like thier costumes!!!

#23 Posted by ArtisticNeedham (2476 posts) - - Show Bio

Love this, I cannot wait till this comes out. Next week? When does it come out? I really want to know.

This sounds like such a fun comic, we need more fun comics and fun art.

So we have found out that Miss Thing is a performer in a Thing costume. Wonder how she ends up on the team then.

I have the biggest crush on Miss Thing!

She Hulk is going to bust a move! Wow.

Arthur Adams can draw a homage cover featuring turds and it'll be awesome.

How is ropes a good trap for a guy who can bend any way he wants, and can solve the rubiks cube in 3 seconds.

In defense of the name, "Miss Thing" works a LOT better than "She-Thing"

It works for me because the term "Miss Thing" or "Miss Thang" was used in Sir Mix-a-Lot's Baby Got Back.

Great cover. Arthur Adams needs to make posters.

#31 Posted by Meteorite (3479 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm liking this cover, but I still think that the best FF #1 homage I've seen is What If? #36

#32 Edited by Fantasgasmic (1092 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm usually all about being stubbornly resistant to change and hating things based on first impressions, but this looks GREAT!

#33 Posted by skyjumpermike (153 posts) - - Show Bio

@thespideyguy: it must be like a strands of christmas lights.

#34 Posted by AlKusanagi (685 posts) - - Show Bio

So Miss thing is basically supposed to be a bimbo in power armor? Okay, fine, but what's the point of having her AND She-Hulk on the same team?

#35 Posted by Cafeterialoca (1580 posts) - - Show Bio

Please buy this book people!

#36 Posted by jstndmnd (1069 posts) - - Show Bio

I wish I could ad this to my pull.

#37 Posted by RedheadedAtrocitus (6958 posts) - - Show Bio

Gotta love homage covers. I rather like that one by Adams!

#38 Posted by dreamfall31 (595 posts) - - Show Bio

Well....I love this cover and want to collect the Allred variants for the first 4 issues...looks like I'll be double dipping a few issues!

#39 Posted by Mezmero (994 posts) - - Show Bio

The cover looks great. I still can't get over that dumb Thing suit. Why does it even have segmented toes? If it's a suit why not just have boots for feet? Looking forward to a review for this series on the site in the future.
