Marvel NOW! Teaser - BIRTH

Marvel has been issuing more Marvel NOW! teasers this week. Just when we thought we already knew about all the new books replacing ones that had been canceled, another teaser pops up. Most of the teasers have had at least some clue as to what the book could be about or feature. This latest one is definitely a head-scratcher.

Looks like someone is having a baby. Could it mean congratulations are in order? Most likely that isn't the case. Last time Jason Aaron dealt with a pregnancy was when Kitty Pryde was infected by a horde of microscopic Brood.

The use of purple should be a clue. There are certain characters with the purple theme to them. Most likely it won't be Hawkeye (or Kate Bishop). For some reason, She-Hulk comes to mind since she used to wear a purple outfit. Maybe we'll see Thanos Jr.? With Simone Bianchi doing the art, it'll be quite a sight.

Who do you think this will deal with? Will it be a happy birth or some sort of horrific alien invasion or new era of terror?

Is someone pregnant? The only other "purple" characters I can think of are Gambit and Green Goblin, but Gambit already has an ongoing.

I have a feeling it is another X-book. Maybe the first Mutant born after the events of AvX?

Now this is a tough one. I don't think it will be She Hulk related since she is on the FF.

Come on, no one thinks it's Thanos Jr.?

Maybe it has something to do with the period at the end.

I guess I would be okay with it, but only if Death is the mom. At this point, Thanos being with someone else would be weird.

babies are always a sign of a horrible over bearing EVENTS...may the gods have mercy on us...

Thinking the same thing given that they both wanted a better life for their child, but I honestly can't give a clear prediction. This is a head-scratcher to me

The purple shade is just to throw off suspicion:

It's Logan and the little bugger will be born with a 'shink'.

It would be potentially cool if it was Thanos Jr,  as it would be Death giving birth.

Why do they have to spread there writers so thin? there is plenty of talent out there. Get Joshua Dysart and Brandon Graham on a marvel book.

Nah I think is Tony Stark do you remember the issue, i think it was an annual where it took place in a distant future(Two or three sons of stark and an old stark captive by the mandarin) and at the same time in the present Tony and Spidey are working to locate some war tech and it ends with some failsafe in all his technology named the "web of the spider" or the "spider" the same failsafe that his sons remember as a song for the procedure to use it and I remember an article here wondering if Tony will be a father calculating the age of the sons and the time being the present.

Hmm, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's a completely new character of some kind.

Maybe this will finally be MarvelMan.

maybe Prowler, Blink, Black Bolt & the Inhumans, Wonder Man, Ant/Giant Man, Galacta, Black Widow, Gladiator, Scorn. Cant think of any more

only like a third of those were serious suggestions

He did hint at it in the last issue of the end of the New Avengers run, so I would say it's a good bet it could be Heroes for Hire.

Maybe it's purple man related...I don't see a connection between the Hawkeyes and the word birth.

Well Thanos also since he has a thing with Death or maybe Hawkeye since all the women hes been doing

Am I the only person who is really starting to hate these teasers? OK tell us what the hell you're doing, or not. Marvel you became that fat girl who could not stop eating chocolate mints, and crying while watching Glee, Who sits there, and keeps on saying "Ha ha I know something that you don't know."

Psylocke, Thanos, Hawkeye, Galactus (Galacta - not in-canon though)...

This one actually has me completely stumped.

Then again the only real clue are the creators and the colour of the text.

I have two guesses. First is the child that Beast and Abigail Brand are having (mentioned in AvX Consequences). The other is the child Archangel impregnated Pestilence with.

If this turns out to be Thanos: Year One or Thanos Begins, I will be very, very excited.

While its not who i think it will be about my first thought was Hawkeye and Mockingbird.

I cant see it being She-Hulk since we just had Skaar, Lara (Savage She-Hulk) and Hiro-Kala come along then one killed now two thrown in to limbo, besides there have been so many others that were basically meaningless but seem to be offspring of the Hulk.

Wasnt the clone of Gwen Stacey pregnant with Green Goblins offspring? Whatever happened with that?
