Marvel Announces Loeb & McGuinness on Mysterious 'Reborn' Title

for everyone saying that everything Loeb writes is horrible or that they won't read this because Loeb is writing it. What about Batman: Dark Victory, Batman: Long Halloween, Batman: Hush, Daredevil: Yellow, Hulk: Gray, Catwoman: When in Rome, Spider-man: Blue, Superman: For All Seasons? How can you say that everything he writes is bad when he has these classics under his belt?
One of these is not like the others. One of these is not as good. The rest are all drawn by Tim Sale. I wonder if there is something to the fact that Loeb's work that always gets cited as great were all drawn by the same guy. Almost as if that artist knew how to turn Loeb scripts around and make a good story out of them.
I'm thinking either X-Gene Reborn with mutants that lost their power on M-Day having their powers return or Skull Reborn a.k.a. the return of the Red Skull.
I think maybe Toxin. He has a good power-set and they basically left his character development alone. Plus Ed McGuiness will make great pictures of Toxin.
Public warning.. dont be a super hero in marvel with 5 letter name.. they seem to die alot..Cable ,Torch,Bucky. But if i was a beting man id say Bucky because it fits the captian america reborn an he could come back as... Nomad... omg will the 5 letter curse never end?!
Hush was Jim Lee.@danhimself said:

@War Killer: Loeb USED to be an excellent writer. The last few years he just hasn't written anything good. Even if we ignore that Ultimatum is one of the worst event comics ever done even managing to be worse than a number of 90s event comics, Loeb's track record lately is horrible. This is going to sound cold and callus, but Loeb just hasn't been as good since his son's death. It's completely understandable that that would have a drastic effect on someone, but the man shouldn't be working on major event comics if he doesn't have the ability to do them. I hope he does a good job with whatever this ends up being, but I'm doubting it.
@War KillerTrue, and honestly I wouldn't either...but either way I really doubt this has anything to do with Bucky. If it involves Bucky, you KNOW Marvel's not going to let anyone else but Brubaker write him. So really I don't think anyone has anything to worry about with this be "Bucky Reborn".This better be Bucky....No! I'd rather Bucky be dead than be written by Loeb.
Plus if you think about it, I know it's his name, but having a series called "Bucky Reborn" doesn't sound that interesting, it's like having saying "Steve Reborn" or "Tony Reborn", just doesn't sound like something you'd want as a title for a major reborn series.
yeah, but Captain America Reborn was a pretty well-known arc
and since Bucky is sort of becoming Bucky again and not Captain America any more, he's basically being reborn as Bucky, while still being a play on the original arc's title
it makes perfect sense
Honestly, think it is going to Wanda since CC ends in December and after reading Ultimate #5, Loeb seems to like her a little.
Bucky is becoming BUCKY again? That doesn't make any sense O_o That's the one thing I don't think many people seem to realize is that "Bucky" isn't a codename like Robin is, it's his NAME. It was a nickname he was given back when he was a teenager and it stuck with him when he became Cap's partner, and using it as a codename now is just silly and doesn't sound like a title you'd want to name a series by. He's not going to be reborn as "Bucky" because he's already Bucky, it's who he IS, it's like how Wolverine's name is James but people call him Logan, it's not a codename it's just another name people know him by.@War Killer:

I'm saying he wasn't calling himself the codename Bucky while he was Cap, so if he isn't going to be Captain America any more, there's no one left for him to be but Bucky, codename and all, therefore he'd be back to being the Bucky he was before he was Cap
@War Killer:Uh, "BUCKY-Cap"? O_o And you missed my point in that Bucky isn't a codename, it's his nickname, it's the name everyone knows and calls him by, even while be was Cap, people still called him Bucky so how could it be a codename if it's ALREADY his name? And what do you mean it's the only thing left for him to go to? Um hello, Winter Soldier? Nomad? Patriot? U.S.Agent? There's plenty of names to grab.I'm saying he wasn't calling himself the codename Bucky while he was Cap, so if he isn't going to be Captain America any more, there's no one left for him to be but Bucky, codename and all, therefore he'd be back to being the Bucky he was before he was Cap
Bucky Reborn is a ridiculous name for a comic, it's not that.
Cable makes more sense, Loeb used to write the character.
I don't man, it's just a hypothetical conversation
calm down, geez
@hitechlolife:
yeah that makes a lot of sense too and I'm sure Jeph Loeb would do a good job with it- I always enjoyed his Cable
man, characters just can't stay dead in the marvel u, can they?
by the way the font looks, i could almost bet that it is Cable or Hulks. probably Cable. hopefully Cable haha.
It's current Jeph Loeb so I won't even bother. Red Hulk should have been the coolest thing ever, but instead it was a catastrophe.
shouldnt loeb be busy destroying the marvel universe by putting it on tv? wait, he does that anyway by writing.
(Scarlet) WITCH reborn. VISION reborn.I thought WITCH reborn too. It would make so much sense since that is the around the same time Avengers Children's Crusade ends.
Do we really need jean back? i mean her being dead is one of the only things marvel has stuck with. big characters in marvel never stay dead the only one is cap marvel. marvel always chicken out on everything big they do (Steve cap and Bucky cap)
Dont get me wrong i like Jean i do but i just think she should stay dead. How many x-men have been killed and stayed dead. i mean big x-men characters not just young ones or unpopular ones. why have all these graves stones and statues when all the people thay are for are still walking around lol
it's The Hulk.
they say that he is going to be kill.
When they kill popular characters, they bring they back in a flash.
For the category 'impending comic book title' I would like to buy the letter "L" thanks.. no? doesn't work that way? I have to guess the whole thing? with no other clue other than the names and publisher? oh that just sucks...
I'm not that into Captain America or Bucky so I'm gonna say probably Cable... but I'm secretly hoping it's Blink :D
I'm putting my money on Skaar. I loved Ed Mcguinness' style on drawing the Hulk. I know Skaar is still around, but perhaps he will go threw some character change leading him into his own on going series. Reborn doesn't have to mean resurrected.I think the concept of Skaar is really cool, yet it feels as though he has no solid ground. We saw Skaar in his first series, where he was an angry child, who had it out for his father. That was a few years back. Now I'd like to see, Skaar, a bit more mature, taking on larger obstacles(outside the savage land).
