I am beyond excited for the Aquaman ongoing!!!
#3 Posted by HubrisRanger (146 posts) - - Show Bio

JLA and Wonder Woman both added to my list. Green Arrow, I would be interested in, but no to JT Krul. Just no.

#4 Posted by Peregrine (167 posts) - - Show Bio

Wish I knew who the girl in black was on the JLI cover...is it Donna Troy?

#5 Posted by doordoor123 (3721 posts) - - Show Bio

Im iffy on this new Justice League but all of these comics seem really cool.

#6 Posted by Crimson Eagle (1855 posts) - - Show Bio

Green Arrow's suit looks a little "smallville-ish."

@Peregrine
I heard it was a new character. I don't know if that is true though.

I'm so excited for the relaunch, but when I see this, a little piece of me dies.

... In a universe where super heroes are strange and new...

#10 Posted by GalacticPunt (77 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmmm... so Batman starts the Justice League in the revamped universe? And he's on two of the teams? Maybe this is why Batman Inc is going on hiatus. If Bruce Wayne is organizing and running the super-powered crowd, he has less need for a network of Batmen. I want to see him in a crotchety, Frank Miller persona, talking down to Superman.

green arrow sounds awesome....turning more and more into a moderate robin hood
#14 Posted by ecm1285 (92 posts) - - Show Bio

The only thing I don't like about this is that they aren't keeping the Drawing the Line and 2.99 thing...I'll have to see if JLA is worth 3.99

#15 Posted by GBrutality (194 posts) - - Show Bio

wow. batman is in six books monthly. see, with dick as batman as well as bruce, this was a more plausible concept. now it's just beyond ridiculous. this overhaul is awful.

they could've just let superman get a new costume and not be such a bitch. no need to rewrite the universe just for that.

#16 Posted by yeopop (631 posts) - - Show Bio

Is that the best art Cliff Chiang can make?

#17 Posted by caladbolglight (90 posts) - - Show Bio

Definitely looks very promising. Though DC's habit of rewriting origins over...and over...and over...and over again definitely irritates me. Though these new comics definitely look very promising.

The Flash and Firestorm are looking good.

Why is Batman on two Justice League teams, I thought he hated them, why are they making him the starter of one, I am confused.

I thought i was the only one! It looks and sounds like it's gonna be awesome. Ivan Reis is such an awesome artist i cant wait to see his panels for the series.

Not only that but if you read the Justice League description, it seems like he started the Justice League. And ill be damned if he didnt also start the JLi. So Batman started everything?

That's my thought/hope.

I guess Batman learned something from Wolverine. Be a loner and be on every single team.

maybe the flash is wally? the solicit  doesn't say barry.... #falsehope

#23 Posted by noj (1094 posts) - - Show Bio
@ecm1285: The line is drawn at 2.99 for all regular books. The first issue of  Justice League is double sized, so thats why its an extra dollar
#24 Posted by ImperiousRix (1069 posts) - - Show Bio

I'll give J.T. Krul another chance with this Green Arrow.  I want to start reading a series with Ollie again.  JLA I'll at least give a try, same with Wonder Woman.

I DO want Fury of Firestorm, Savage Hawkman, and Flash, though.  Gail Simone, Tony Daniel, and Francis Manapul attached to those series make them a must buy.

#25 Posted by RedheadedAtrocitus (6885 posts) - - Show Bio

Justice League and JLI for sure...the others...possibly...

#26 Posted by maxicere (936 posts) - - Show Bio

Maybe maybe maybe JLI...
I don't like anything of this...

I heard that the first arc of the new JLA book is a flashback-arc showing how the first got united. Since that is the book that's gonna lead the new relaunch, it's only fitting that it'd be the one that begins with introducing these characters (again) to new readers.

Green Arrow sounds interesting

#30 Posted by Darkmount1 (1287 posts) - - Show Bio

Honestly, Green Arrow sounds more like a hooded bow-slinging version of the Punisher here.
#31 Posted by Bestostero (5618 posts) - - Show Bio

argh, they still haven't confirmed that girl in JLI yet.... i want to know who it isssss!!!!

#32 Posted by longbowhunter (7498 posts) - - Show Bio
@shawn87
Yeah us Aquaman fans are few and far between. With Johns and Reis I think the King of the Sea will be pulling in a few new fans and readers.
#33 Posted by sa5m (2112 posts) - - Show Bio

The Aquaman one looks real good =)

#34 Posted by haydenclaireheroes (9247 posts) - - Show Bio

I like Dc Presents it gives a chance to see a lot of characters

@haydenclaireheroes:
same, after reading Brightest Day I can't wait to see more of Deadman!!!

Also excited about The Flash, Fury of Firestorm, and Captain Atom series

I would pay serious money to see that! It would be glorious!
#37 Posted by goldenkey (2927 posts) - - Show Bio

I'd be more excited if Judd Winickdlksaf (how ever it's spelled) was writing JLI.  I was surprised at how DAMN good JLA Generation Lost was.  It beat the hell out of Brightest day thats for damn sure.  Booster Gold is coming into his own pretty damn hard.  Finally wanting to be the hero is interesting instead of a walking advertisement.  I sure Jurgens doesn't go backwards with him.
#38 Posted by Pizawle (1074 posts) - - Show Bio

So Cyborg is good enough to be on the JLA but the only one not good enough to get his own ongoing.

And I just realized there is still no new Captain Marvel book. What... the... (you know)!?

#39 Posted by Samimista (20917 posts) - - Show Bio

I never read Aquaman but will give it a try now since it sounds different

#40 Posted by Sergotron (108 posts) - - Show Bio

I am getting a bit of a 90's vibe with some of the character designs. Am I alone on this?

#41 Posted by The Sadhu (853 posts) - - Show Bio

These are actually looking good... my interest has been peaked.

Also its awesome to see Cyborg getting a bit more time in the limelight.

okokokok OKAY, has anyone noticed that the deadman title is FIVE ISSUES? is that something to look at? is this "new universe" going to be five months?!?!! hmmmmmmm

Or DC Universe Presents is an anthology title, and the first story is five issues long...
#44 Posted by BradBrains (91 posts) - - Show Bio

RIP Zatanna....probably.

so depressing.

i probably wont be picking up any of the new ongoings that i wasnt reading already. though i might try wonder woman again.

#45 Posted by pikahyper (12624 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmmm 52 new #1's and only five of them have variants, that doesn't seem very DC like, gotta be a first that they would pass up a chance to make more money.

The five are Superman #1, Batman #1, Green Lantern #1, JLA #1 and Flash #1. No love for WW, hope they didn't remove her from the trinity and replace her with Cyborg.

JlI looks interesting, but then again I read the original run and it remains one of my favs so Im a little biased.

#47 Posted by Outside_85 (9926 posts) - - Show Bio

I'll get excited for the JLA when we know if the 7 are the only members or not...and who the other members are (rumors about the JLA consisting of 14 members).

#48 Posted by CraftyArrow (123 posts) - - Show Bio

RIP Captain Marvel
#49 Posted by Darkchild (41309 posts) - - Show Bio

im kind of confused with how they are accomplishing all of the reboot while keeping certain big events BRIGHTEST DAY in continuity. Some of these new books further my confusion

Will read them all when they come out

#50 Posted by Kozmik (11 posts) - - Show Bio

You all know this is not a reboot right? Because it seems that the majority of people seem to think so. Yes there are a few tweaks here and there but only where they are deemed necessary. I recommend that you all go over to The Source to see all the solicits: Zatanna is a member of JLDark, Tim was Robin, Starfire has not been re-imagined as a bad girl, Batman Inc. still exists, Ollie is simply adopting a new costume and style that modernizes Mike Grell's take on him, the JL is just that: the new Justice League we've been begging for for so long. Furthermore, Batman have been a member of every version of the Justice League.
