Wasn't Ultimate Thor stuck in the Negative Zone with Galactus?

Someone help me out with this. Why are there so many versions of Mjolnir? Are these alternate reality Thors all meeting at the same time, thus we get multiple Mjolnirs?

Is that Ultimate Thor? I dont know much about the Ultimate universe. I wouldn't mind the Thor from SW #2 to replace Odinson (If he didnt survive that is). I really hope he did, though!

In Secret Wars #2, The Ultimate universe and 616 merged and made "Battleworld" in this new world, Thor is like a policing force. There are many hammers and those who are worthy get one and join the Thor Corps to maintain order and law in the land.

That is Ultimate Thor, Jason Aaron said in an interview that he will be the main character in the book. Really wanted him to be the new herald of galactus in the 616 but this should be cool too.

@gotham331: SPOILER In secret wars 2 God doom created the Thor corp as basically his police force/ nights watch. He made the hammers for them.

@shadowlife248: yeah but when the multiverse was destroyed and recreated the negative zone went with it. I miss his gold mechanical armor though.

I was planning to pick this up, but it does look really good. Once the preview with word bubbles comes out, I will make a final decision. And Groot Thor is amazing.

So they are reconning the ultimate version of Thor as well? He should have gold armor and the golden mjolnir not the fake axe the european super soldier program made for him... Ultimate Thor should in theory be worthy to wield a real mjolnir even though his asgard has been destroyed and in his univierse that depowered him. If hobag foster gets the power of thor, ultimate thor should as well with a 616 style mjolnir

Are they 616 characters?

Sadly I doubt any of them are the characters we knew before the Battleworld. Only characters that escaped are the ones in the Raft with Reed and such. Or the Maker and Cabal in their own Raft which was discovered in Secret Wars 2. So basicly almost all characters we see probably God-Doom's creations which is still not explained how he did it. Maybe he decided to pluck characters out of timelines or created them from his own knowledge since he has God-like powers.

@wowlock: hard to tell, since each tie in ive read had handled who they are and what they remember differently. Ultimate End they seem to fully know, Spiderverse they have dream like memories and Planet Hulk seems like they are clueless.After secret wars 2 i figured god doom just reassembled universe with components of the multiverse and rewrote everyone's memories except for the people on the life rafts. Bendis may have just said F**k it im gonna do what i want. basically im assuming it is the equivelent of mass brainwashing

@shadowlife248: jason aaron did an interview with ign. Ultimate Thor has been wearing that armor since Humphries run on the Ultimates when Infinity gem consciousness Tony built it for him. Was wearing it when he fell into negative zone with galactus so i figured he might still have it. I like the classic ultimate thor too though
