First Look: SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #24 - "Darkest Hours" Continues

The superior venom does have an interesting look, but I can't read anymore Superior Spider-man. I really dislike what they've done. To me the whole point of reading a Spidey comic was the way he made jokes while fighting the bad guys, the problems he faced and overcame despite everything that went wrong in his life. That element doesn't exist anymore. I look forward to the day that Peter comes back for good.

Who is the Superior Venom? Well, I suppose it'd have to be someone who is

• wearing a costume just like Spider-Ock's (with symbiote trappings, natch)
• using spider-bots and Otto's soldiers
• desirable enough to the symbiote that it would leave Flash Thompson
• an interesting host in the context of a title that's all about the differences between Otto and Peter
• taking up several pages in a Superior Spider-Man preview that contains no Superior Spider-Man

Damn I truly miss the Venom series, i'd wish they would had actually let it reach 50. Glad to know wont be picking this after the greatness Rick and Bunn did in the series..this is feels lame. Oh well hope other people enjoy it, cause I know I wont give a damn about this arc.

@tigerex78: I know what you mean, but for me its the other way around. No Peter Parker Spidey comic, since the JMS run and Millars Marvel Knights series has done anything for me... I hated Dan Slott on the book... until Superior Spidey. I love this book so much! For me, it will be a sad day when Peter comes back. Spock is so much more interesting to me.

If the symbiote cant figure out that its not Peter than I've had it.
Professor X (God rest his bald soul) probably couldnt figure out that he's ock.
I guess I'll have to wait till Dan Slott brings Peter's soul back in Uncle Ben's body with Doc Ock's legs as part of another major Marvel "event" till anyone actually notices that somethings not quite right with spidervillain.
