Art looks really good in here vs. some of the other art I have seen of Steve. Sometimes it seems people don't know how to draw him now that he isn't cap like in Avengers #1 or some of the covers for other comics. He looked like Chucky on the cover though.

I started reading Cap again once Reborn started and #600 came out, I just can't remember what order.  I became a fan of Ed Brubaker when I first read his stuff during Rise and Fall of Shi'ar Empire a few years back.  To that point, I'd never been real attentive to Captain America for the entirety of my comic book reading/collecting.  Brubaker basically schooled me on the fact that if you read Marvel comics, you should always know what Cap is up to.  I've been a big fan of Cap's ever since around 2006-10. These first few pages of Super-Soldier look awesome.  I like the direction they're taking with Steve Rogers.

I have to wait till July to get it?  Why so long?  Secret Avengers is already out, so is Avengers Prime, and Mighty Avengers.  Why wait so long for something that sounds like it should go with those others.  Oh well, I will wait.

One of the new books I'm really looking forward too. Brubaker is writing a lot of good looking stuff right now. Captain America continues to be great, Secret Avengers had a really good first issue, and this looks like a great companion to those.

To me Steve Rogers IS Captain America, but Brubaker really does a great job selling the Bucky Captain America. Even still, its nice to see what Rogers is up to while he doesn't wield the shield.
