Oh man, we're not just talking one Scarlet Spider here. I may have mentioned once or twice how much I dug Ben Reilly as Scarlet Spider. I can't get my hopes up but, at the same time, I can barely contain my excitement.

I hope Jessica is the one who doesn't make it out. Love Kaine and it's great to see Ben back in a book. But I don't have any attachments to Jess. Sorry, nothing personal.

Nice! Spider-Verse is a great event. And hopefully we'll get some kind of on going where we can revisit some of these characters like Noir, Spider-Gwen, and others. An ongoing Scarlet Spiders wouldn't be bad either.

I'm pretty big on Spider-Man but the Edge of Spider-Verse stuff hasn't connected with me yet. I must check this out because more of Kaine/Scarlet Spider is always a good thing.

I could see Kaine ding so that Ben can take his place.

Or even Jessica to try & have Spider-Gwen take her place, as S-Gwen seems to be really popular. That & Ult-Jessica is just a dumb idea, they really should have just used an Ult version of Julia Carpenter who NEVER should have lost the Spider-Woman name to begin with.

Ben could die because people want him back, & to some like me, he is our "black costume" spiderman. The first spidey comic I have has his red suit with the blue sweatshirt & silver webshooters, its awesome & I really really dislike the "traditional" spidey suit.

Also, can Jessica-CLone even zip that jacket closed over that pair of massive boobs? Must be made out of adamantium threads.

I can't wait. Ben Reilly has always been my favourite Spider-Man (besides Peter).

Meh, I'm only picking this for Ultimate Jessica Drew, I don't see how an alternate version of a character that hasn't appeared in years is better than a character that appears in a monthly title.

I like how the cover for the last issue of this just spoils theyre going to kill this Ben to lol. I mean he's it's clearly either Ben or Kaine that dies in the picture but Kaine is the only one in a relevant universe so it's not going to be him.

Just kidding. I'll still read and enjoy it because I love Ben. But I want the hoodie back.

Kaine + Ben = money for Marvel

A spider book that actually sounds interesting. Might peek it. Diffrently, I have grown to hate Peter Parker spiderman. He is for kids and man children in my opinion. I can only tolerate him on a team where he just pops jokes and uses his physicals(which are cool). Marvel, Please PERMANENTLY update his Spider suit. Like my gosh. Are we in 2014 are 1970.

Not sure of 3 fan favorites would be the right term, they really messed up the Ultimate 'Spider Woman' for quite some time. The female clone was just a bad idea to begin with, then they went and messed up both the Spider-Woman name, AND Black Widow

I can only hope that at the end of the summer, and whatever they have planned involves doing away with the Ultimate Universe completely.

There can be, if the writers want there to be. TBH there is no Ult Jessica Drew either, just a female clone of Peter using a name that only has meaning to the reader.

there is no reason to ever have multiple versions of the same character running around.
