From what I've read Abnett's take on Herc sounds fine as hell.

Hopefully they don't de-power him too severely. I was always under the opinion that Hercules should be the physically strongest character in the marvel universe(AT LEAST on earth). Stronger than the Hulk too. If you ask me, I think as the Olympian God of strength, one of his traits should be "Automatically the stronger than the strongest Mortal of the earthen domain". Meaning Hercule will always be stronger than the strongest earth Mortal no matter what.

"The angrier hulk gets... the stronger hulk gets.... but the stronger hulk gets, the stronger Hercules gets" kinda deal

I'm probably rambling nonsense now lol. Anyway, looking forward to this.

totally excited for this series. I am only getting this, Black Knight and Spider Woman after the relaunch

@truemarvel I always liked the idea that since Herc is the god of heroes the more heroic an action the stronger he gets, but not just his actions but the actions of humanity. So like if there is an explosion and civilizations run in to help then that would amp his strength.

If this is half as good as Fed Van Lente's run, I'll be ecstatic.

I'm looking forward to this. I hope they don't get too comedic with the series. I'd like some but just less buffoonish than before.

So Mikaboshi is back.

And Hercule's mace was made of adamantium and had a golden shine, not... that.

Damn, he's hot, but I'm not getting it now that he's been straight-washed.

I hope they show more of the Greek pantheon.

I might pick this up just because of Abnett. I love his Gaunt's Ghosts series from WH40K. He's an awesome writer!

Not to jump on a soapbox, but it really irks me every time an artist incorporates something trendy like the "man-bun". No one can predict the future, but we should all learn from our mistakes. Contemporary today, laughable tomorrow.

Maybe Herc with a man-bun was suppose to be laughable today. The lady and kids don't look pleased with it.

At this moment I am astonished that Herc never had a manbun before. It suits him.

Manbuns may be cool and all, but I was told that kind of 'do can give a man some hair loss. However, I doubt Herc will lose his own hair over that.
