Marvel is proud to present your first look at Hawkeye #2, brought to you by the superstar creative team of Matt Fraction and David Aja! The Arrowed Avenger is back on his feet and hitting the Marvel Universe to prove once and for all that he’s worthy of the title of Avenger! But he won’t be going it alone, as fellow archer hero Kate Bishop fights by his side!
The critics have spoken, Hawkeye is a hit!

I wonder if he kept the dogs name Arrow. which i thought that was very funny and cliched that they did at the end.

The first issue was excellent. I am way to excited for the 2nd. I almost wish this was bi-weekly like the rest of Fractions main books.

I said it once and ill say it again. Fraction is great at writing a single character story, not team books. the first issue is fantastic and hope they keep him on for at least 12 issues before they decide to change up the writers again. and keep the artist. it goes great with fractions writing.

just as long as there aren't anymore villains who keep repeating the same stupid shit.

Couldnt agree more! Except for Thor, that book is pretty bad. I really wanted the Defenders to be good, because I love a lot of the characters. But I couldnt stay on for more than a few issues.

Clint Barton is Marvel's slut. Seriously, if it is female and it walks, Clint will eventually bang it.

And it isn't even cool. It is bloody annoying.

I'm most looking forward to Marvel trying to defend this very likely upcoming case of one of their heroes committing paedophilia with similar excuses to that which an actual paedophile would use in court.

As another point of interest, SMG's like those, the bullets would not go too deep in the water. I think 3 or 4 feet under water and you would be safe from the bullets. they lose all momentum. might hurt your ear drums though.

I think this going to become one of my favorite series. Yay Hawkeye and other Hawkeye.

#40 Posted by fACEmelter88 (498 posts) - 9 months, 21 days ago - Show Bio

Pretty awesome, usually not into this "type/style" of artwork but I like the unique approach he takes and Matt Fraction is quite alright.

#41 Posted by fodigg (4536 posts) - 9 months, 21 days ago - Show Bio

I like his uniform a lot. Why are they drawing Kate to look so much older? I really hope they don't introduce any romantic tension, which would be skeevy.

Looks good.Still haven't read #1 though.

#43 Posted by BaBaBoom (171 posts) - 9 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

This makes me puke invisible rainbows. Is that normal?

#44 Posted by BaBaBoom (171 posts) - 9 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

@X35: If Kate Bishop got stuck in the future for 3 years and then when Clint Barton comes to the future to bring her back that's when he'll nail her. After that Matt Fraction will get booed for plagiarism.

#45 Posted by Sleepwalker570 (19 posts) - 9 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

Looking forward to it! Issue #1 was awesome.

#46 Posted by HombreMan (101 posts) - 9 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

#49 Posted by edge0076 (56 posts) - 9 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

This looks like it's going to shape up into my new favorite Marvel book. Perfect combination of character, writing, and art. I absolutely love how it's more grit than slick.
