First Look: Barry Sonnenfeld & Grant Morrison's DINOSAURS VS. ALIENS - Comic Book Preview

Why did the dinosaurs really become extinct? There's plenty of reasons and a bit of 'fact' about what happen millions of years ago. Filmmaker Barry Sonnenfeld and Grant Morrison have another idea. That's where DINOSAURS VS. ALIENS comes in. Coming in May from Dynamite Entertainment, we'll get to see what might have really happened.

Dynamite has given us an advanced first look at what we can expect from this release. They've given us a lot of art to check out. If you didn't like dinosaurs before seeing these, you just might now.

Grant Morrison was the only thing making me even remotely pay attention to this project but I'm starting to think it might be pretty cool.

That actually looks awesome, it's goofy I'll grant but man I can't help it Dinosaurs taking on Aliens, it's going to be a blast and the art looks great too.

Ok, Cowboys and Aliens was a stretch that turned out pretty cool... but dinosaurs? I mean... no higher reason vs. super advanced tech.... 10 minute battle, tops

The aliens look pretty cool. Premise sounds pretty cheesy, but considering it's Grant Morrison...I'm sure it'll be interesting.

The art is gorgeous and Singh deserves a lot of credit. But come on!!! Dinosaur's vs Aliens, not even Morrison could get me to believe in a premise like this.

Apparently these dinosaurs are going to be quite intelligent... honestly, I have little faith in the idea, but I also had little faith in Cowboys and Aliens and I wound up enjoying that. Hopefully I'm proven wrong a second time.

I love the concept and Grant Morrison is a god, but from this art it looks like it's mostly going to be about Therapods. If that's the case, then that's very disappointing. I would really like it if it was about the different classes of dinosaurs uniting to defeat a common enemy. I really want there to be some Brachiosauruses in this...
