In the future, future Charles and Raze set up a plan to go back but to do so at a point where they could have extra chances incase they fail. So after the future brotherhood loses the Battle of the Atom, they send a message into the future that lets them know how they lost. It is kinda like in the movie Back to the Future 2 when Doc Brown gets sent back into the 1800s, he sends Marty a message in 1955. And since teen Jean hasn't died, there is always going to be a future version of Jean.

Good thing I just bought all the volumes and caught up again, still loving Immonen's artwork.

Oh god please make Bendis stop writing X-23.

Every single line with her he writes makes her just a bit more terrible.

Craig Kyle and Chris Yost have returned, please just give them their character back.

I've not been impressed with Bendis' handling of Laura, but clearly Immonen's doing well with her (if only we could get the colorist to make her eyes properly green again...).

Why is this even a comic book? Now that Jean is god, can't the entire team let her do everything?

I do like Laura's new costume, but I do not like how Bendis is making the writing of her looking bad including the part when she met young Cyclops. By the way, Angel and his bike does reminds me of Prince, but it also reminds me of Snow from Final Fantasy.
