Don't leave DC superhero comics Morrison!!!

Oh yeah, I remember the HIVE in DCUO! They were a joke :P

Hopefully theyre more awesome (and threatening) here

The art on Action Comics looks pretty. I have high hopes with Diggle on board too.

#6 Posted by TimeLordScience (1564 posts) - - Show Bio

I hate that they de-evolved Barbara to not be Oracle anymore.

#7 Posted by LeaderVladimir (183 posts) - - Show Bio

@Dernman: Don't you just hate it when Supergirl randomly takes a level in jerkass? No, seriously, her comic book makes Superman a total designated villain even if his complaints with Kara are totally justified.

That Action Comics cover is gorgeous. I'm dropping Action from my pull after Morrison leaves the book, but I fully intend to keep reading via trade.

Diggle's AC looks fairly interesting, but I still don't know if I'll continue to buy the series itself after Morrison leaves.

#12 Posted by Dernman (16898 posts) - - Show Bio
@LeaderVladimir: Yeah It's annoying. I understand what they are going for but they went to far and it's making her look bad.

Oh look, Supergirl is thrashing the Earth...again. Seriously? This has to be a trope now!

#18 Posted by IronAngelX (213 posts) - - Show Bio

It sucks that the Superman series has some of the best artists working on their books. I love Tony S. Daniel and Kenneth Rocafort. I would love to see Rocafort takeover Snyder's Batman series if/when Capullo ever leaves.

#19 Posted by tomlikesfries (5294 posts) - - Show Bio

Love the creative team for Action Comics. I'm glad Morrison is leaving. Not really enjoying his run to be honest.

#20 Posted by haydenclaireheroes (10319 posts) - - Show Bio

I will probably have to skip Supergirl for a while until He'l on Earth is over. I will probably check out Action Comics with the new creative team, but it does not improve I am going to drop Action Comics

#21 Posted by RedQueen (1199 posts) - - Show Bio

All looks awesome :D Have to admit I do like Supergirl's homage though, very cool :)

Why does that suck? Superman is dc's prime superhero, of course he deserves the best they can offer, at least artistically

Plus rocaforts style doesnt fit batman at all

Tony Daniel's cover is just beautiful

#24 Posted by JayJayCAW (365 posts) - - Show Bio

I wonder if Superboy's new secret identity is going to be "Conner Kent", they might not jump right into it and go to one of his older ones.

#25 Posted by yo_yo_fun (654 posts) - - Show Bio

Awesome! I hope the new writer of Action Comic is good, never read any of his stuff.

I can't wait for Scott Snyder's Superman!!

#26 Posted by pspin (1079 posts) - - Show Bio

Supergirl looks great as always. Johnson and Asrar are doing great.

#27 Posted by Zeeguy91 (1284 posts) - - Show Bio

@RedQueen: Is that really a homage, though? Kara's expression looks completely different. She looks like she's about to destroy the Earth rather than cradle it.

#28 Posted by IronAngelX (213 posts) - - Show Bio

@Stormbox: lol, it sucks because I only have room in my comic book buying for two books and that's Batman and All-New X-Men. It doesn't suck, I love Superman, I just wish I could collect one of the books that had that amazing art.

#29 Posted by Zeeguy91 (1284 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm really excited for Diggle to come onto Action. Morrison just wasn't doing ti for me.

#30 Posted by Lvenger (23096 posts) - - Show Bio

Very interesting stuff. I plan to read Action Comics until Snyder's new Superman title comes out and Diggle's plans sound interesting. Lex, the Oracle and a mystery guest is enticing solicit! And now he's just focusing on being an artist, I can appreciate Tony Daniel once again. His work on Justice League has made the story bearable and the cover looks sublime!

#31 Posted by RedQueen (1199 posts) - - Show Bio

@Zeeguy91:haha. true, it's more like an anti-homage.

#32 Posted by Stormbox (2053 posts) - - Show Bio

@IronAngelX: Oh i get you know

Batman and all new x-men have great art tho

so what happened to the original story to action comics 18

#35 Posted by johnqestion (288 posts) - - Show Bio

Gorgeous art by Rocafort and Tony Daniel. Not sure Diggle can really keep up up with what Morrison has laid down or write the new 52 Superman. Lobdell seems pretty fearless in what he wants to do.Diggle really needs to do a decent interview and try to at least give us an idea that he's not going to rehash past continuity. All his interviews sounded like old canon.

Just to clarify this 'Oracle' is nothing like the persona of Barbara Gordon, he's this giant monolith alien that is pretty important in the galaxy, nothing like Barbara

I'm so happy to see Tony Daniels on Action. With all due respect to Rags Morales, Tony is a big improvement. Anyway, needless to say I am really looking forward to the new Action team and the aftermath of H'El on Earth.

The Oracle has already been mentioned. It is in the very first issue of Stormwatch. And it is on the cover of an upcoming Superman issue.

It is this big monster-like thing with a giant spiky horn.

I know but I felt like saying it anyway because I'm still not happy with Barbara not being Oracle.

Based on the black stuff coming from her hand, my guess is Eclipso. Maybe the Black Hand (but I doubt it)

I feel the opposite of everyone else, I've dropped Action Comics, I'll pick it back up after Morrison is gone. Really not liking his run.
