Amanda Waller has always had her finger on the pulse of superhero's everywhere. If there is a new hero with a new power, she's made it her duty to obtain as much information as possible about the individual. To Amanda, the only way to prevent an unexpected occurrence is to be in control of it -- and she tends to regard most heroes as untrustworthy, volatile and an overall threat. So it's no question that in the upcoming SUICIDE SQUAD #9 and RESURRECTION MAN #9 she has made it her duty to understand Mitch Shelley's powers because she sees them as an asset. Shelley, who has a "seemingly indestructible body" needs to be captured. How will Waller gain control of Shelley and his powers?

RESURRECTION MAN and SUICIDE SQUAD #9 will feature a crossover that is bound to keep fans of the Resurrection Man on their toes. In RESURRECTION MAN Amanda Waller is on the hunt for Shelley, and in SUICIDE SQUAD #9 we'll see that she gets a little bit of help from Deadshot to get the job done. The question is, will they succeed, or will the Resurrection Man manage to escape? Check out the five-page preview for RESURRECTION MAN #9 below, written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning featuring art from Fernando Dagnino below.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to the release of the issue on May 9th, 2012?

I wish that more comic readers would step outside their comfort zone and pick up comics like Suicide Squad and Resurrection Man.

I have been enjoying both runs so far. I cannot wait to read this crossover.

I agree here and I'd like to say that i very much enjoy that we're getting new artists on both books. Saiz's art is gonna fit well with Resurrection Man while Dagnino's more action-heavy art is gonna be perfect for Suicide Squad.

Resurrection Man is an under rated series. People should be checking it out. The further it goes the more interesting it gets.

Gotta love how realistic things can be. A couple of ladies holding M-61 7.62mm mini guns pointing them at Deadshot. This looks great though, all joking aside.

Why would a comic about a man who can't die and comes back with super powers be realistic?

Anyway, Loved Res. Man the first time around, and this time, despite it being a total relaunch, I still love it.

I really hope more people will give this book a chance... several of the issues have been downright thrilling... this crossover with the Suicide Squad is the first chance for a boost... hopefully people will feel excited about following it all the way to the second chapter... Squad has some nice numbers that could really benefit ResMan...

Loving the look for Saiz and Guinaldo on the book so far. I'm excited for today!
