I hope by 'landmark' it does not mean 'final.' This series is too good to end so soon!

@iragulasuperbia: It had been stated in an earlier interview that they'd originally been given a 50 issue run, but they also said they'd already been cleared to go beyond that.

Also I'm doubting the Mutanimals spinoff would be a thing, limited series or not, were we that close to the end. Basically giving a group of characters a bigger impact just to end it all would be an odd move.

@shaowwolf712: I wouldn't be surprised if the Mutanimals was a sort of last hurrah, but that's great news to hear. I hadn't heard of that announcement. Thank you for letting me know!

Really looking forward to a Shredder and Krang rematch. Shredder was completely brushed aside in the last issue.
