The art on this book is phenomenal

The art of Sorrentino is always fantastic

It'd scarry how this tie-in series can be as amazing as it is, but his other seried Ultimate End is so confusing.

Gorgeous art... Wow. Good for me that I didn't read the Old Man Logan arc before starting this. That way I'm really not disappointed by the out of character stuff people keep complaining about. :)

Is it just me, or is the art in Secret Wars really taking a hit? Maybe they have rushed this and their other series too much.

She looks like a female gender of Beta Ray Bill's species. I will definitely be buying this as a TPB.

That is one sweet cover. Too bad the real Wolverine has been destroyed...

Marvel Zombies, Secret World, and of course Deadpool's series :) That's all one needs as single issues, but Old Man Logan will be picked up as TPB, and you can never go wrong with the fun Amazing Spiderman Renew Your Vows issues. I just consider these stories that are similar to filler, no effect, but neither do TV shows nor the movies have any effect on the MCU/DCU.

I think she's got no nose because she's supposed to be Ti Asha Ra, as in what if she was the Korbinite instead of Beta Ray Bill to pick up Mjolnir.

I'm still surprised at how much I like these Secret Wars tie ins.

I tend to like Bendis's more character driven stuff. I had somehow missed he was writing this. I was probably going to pick it up anyway because it's drawn by Sorrentino, but with him writing, I'm even more on board.

I too am perplexed at how someone can just climb a wall, aren't walls unclimbable?

Hopefully that cover image actually takes place in this issue, instead of it being on the last page and making is have to wait for issue 3....

@lordryus: it's pretty amazing. It's like he is two different writers.

@atheistknowledge: Its not the wall that was impossible. Its crossing borders from place to place. Its illegal, and most don't survive doing it.

@idontlikebirds: Agreed, they've been surprisingly good for me too. I've currently read and committed to Planet Hulk, Old Man Logan, Infinity Gauntlet, Renew Your Vows, Weirdworld, A-Force, Where Monsters Dwell, and Marvel Zombies. The only one I've read and not continuing is Years of Future Past, and it wasn't really bad, but my wallet is bleeding.

The art though

@diannah: That's Ti Asha Ra, she's not suppose to have a nose. So what do you mean by "case in point"?

@sparty_dbq: It's already explained that crossing borders is illegal in Battleworld.

@venommelendez: Even though she was supposed to be a Korbinite, the art was so bad that she could easily pass for just a woman without a nose. My broader point was that a lot of Marvel's art during the Secret Wars issues has been poor quality. "Old Man Logan" is one example. I would add this week's "Spider-verse" to that list too.

@diannah: Now you are just backpedaling. Just admit you were wrong.

Besides, that is a rather subjective opinion. Especially since the art in Planet Hulk, Master of Kung-Fu, A-Force, Carol Corps,Angela 1602 and Little Marvels has been great.

The one in Old Man Logan hasn't been bad either.

@venommelendez: Art is subjective. There is no right or wrong in subjective views. You have a different view than me, and that's fine. Also, I didn't say I disliked ALL of Marvel's art during this Secret Wars run, just "a lot" of it.

Having said that, I will easily grant you A-Force, which is one of the most beautiful comics I've read in quite some time. And Little Marvels is cute.

@totoroshaped: read there opus series. It's incredible, and this works perfectly as a sequel. The guy who reviewed this was mistaken.

This series has been surprisingly awesome. The art is definitely polarizing but I think it totally fits the story.
