Holy Khonshu! It's just too good. Unfortunately with last weeks news, we know what they say when something seems too good to be true.

THAT ART. I love this series and Ellis's portrayal of Moon Knight's psyche.

This looks awesome. Wonder if he'll run into Mario down there?

@captainhoopla: Yeah, sucks. Did they announce who would be writing the book next?

#7 Posted by CaptainHoopla (967 posts) - - Show Bio

@manlybanister: I haven't seen or heard any official announcements yet. May not know anything officially until the September solicits are released.

This comic is in my top 5, and I don't just let anything in my top 5. I'm so sad to see it go...

Love this series! Warren Ellis always throwing Lovecraftian horrors into superheroes faces. And does anyone know if it's just getting a new writer or straight up cancelled?

#10 Posted by manlybanister (30 posts) - - Show Bio

@captainhoopla: Hmm. Hope someone gets on board and they don't just cancel it. It's been a really great run so far. Lots of good individual issues; like single days in the life of Moon Knight. Really good stuff.

@swampping: I believe CBR's latest Axel-in-Charge interview mentioned a Moon Knight Volume 2, so hopefully that means at least 6 more issues.

Honestly, i dont like the art. Which is funny because i didnt mind Decan's art in Thunderbolts and Venom. It dosent possess me here.

Mushrooms, fittingly enough.

@raggedscarecrow:

"Moon Night: Volume One" concludes with issue #6. "Moon Knight: Volume Two" starts the next month. We'll have more to say about that soon, and I'm very excited.

Picked this up cuz everyone is always like "moon knight is so great" this or "moon knight is so underrated" that.

Well that crazy $&@! has grown on me, and quickly I might add.

My knavish tongue has been silenced.

Whoa! This looks awesome.

@tommythehitman: solicit for issue 6 states "don't miss the conclusion of Ellis, Shalvey, and Bellaire". Assumptions have ranged from a new creative team, partial creative change, to cancelled all together. I don't see it being cancelled since it has sold so well. The big question is who is leaving and who will be replacing them. I'm trying to hold hope that it's just an artist rotation for the next arc and that Shalvey will be back for the next. Whatever the case, I'm trying to remain hopeful for suitable replacements.

This is the kind of Moon Knight I dreamed of, and it's already going away. :-( Enjoy it while it lasts!

The art looks awesome bus always but four issues into a six issue series and there is no build in storyline? Not really a fan of anthologies, thought I suppose Ellis could have a thematic conclusion.

I've been loving every issues so far, but they've also been really weird for me since they're stand-alone stories so far and just, feel weird. Like, they can be so random at times. For me, at least. Still, looking forward to this! Shalvey's art is always a pleasure to see.

Crom's blood, that's gorgeous!

Quoth Ellis: Here’s a preview of MOON KNIGHT #4. Please click through in order to see what happens when I introduce Dec and Jordie to the work of French comics legend Philippe Druillet.

Quoth I: Here's hoping some adventurous Moon Knight fans (they're reading Ellis, shouldn't that mean they're adventurous by definition?) search out the work of Druillet!
