I really wish all these comics could have synced up with Secret Wars better. I'm having a hard time caring about these books that have not yet caught up with SW. When you know the universe will be destroyed and nearly all the characters die, its hard to get invested.

The only thing that should end is Bendis's run on this book.

Agreed. Got crap right when Angela showed up.

even before that, we had to deal with "blam, murdered it!", something extremely out of character for rocket to say. i really despise everything bendis has done to this book, annihilation was what got me back into comics and bendis has totally ignored/trashed all of it. Like, I'm first and foremost a cosmic guy, and without a flagship cosmic title, (and a mediocre spider-man title) I'm pretty inclined to drop the hobby. Thank god for new avengers, hickman, and secret wars.

if bendis still has guardians after this, I'm done.

Also, I wasn't aware that Carol was an official member of the team. I thought she just appeared to help every so often and it wasn't official, but whatever.

@kokemabb200: Yeah, and even that wasn't as bad as what followed... Especially the issues between #14-23 were really mediocre and bland. Almost nothing but filler and to top it; all plot threads started in those books were abandoned without any resolution. A lot of folks just dropped the title at that point.

Kind of dissapointing that it took Bendis almost 2 years to actually figure out any over arching plot for the series -sort of, anyway...

I wonder if she's actually I this one, seems she's been on a few covers but then nowhere in the book.

@jonny_anonymous: Pretty much 99.9% of people will agree with that, including myself.

Unfortunately he's writing Guardians of Knowhere during Secret Wars (I believe), but hopefully after Secret Wars he'll be gone (doubtful but I can hope).

Or maybe at least they'll take Venom off the team and give him his own book again...

And I wish they stopped making it like Carol is a member. Bendis has her randomly show up and disappear for no reason.

@granitesoldier: Yeah, Venom & Cap... What was the point in dedicating issues for them to join the team if they have had literally almost nothing to do for the whole time?

I was really hoping to see what they were going to do with Venom after the "tune-up" but no... His been even less visible than before if at all possible. >:(

I wonder if Schiti will return as an artist after SW? I've started to like his style in gotg but Deodata to continue after SW wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Pretty much sums up every opinion I have on this run... Merge with Abnett's Guardians 3000 already!

Can Drax go back to his former self? His giant brute self.

Okay, so it's kind of pissing me off that they brought Carol and Flash onto the team/book and have practically done nothing with them--especially the latter.

Honestly even before that angela brought me back to read it.
