The Annual was an interesting take but I wish they made Batman someone else. (Can we say who he is? WE ALL KNOW ANYHOW.)

I was really hoping on Azrael.

With regards to this issue, I am very intrigued by Aquawoman.

I hope after a while they make the new batman into hour man if his drug only last an hour. I like the whole idea of not having Superman and Batman in earth 2 and would like it to return to that concept. Other than that Taylor is not doing to bad in his run.

Man! I'm in issue 18 yet but in this preview Aquawoman looks badass.

Tom Taylor is rocking it as usual, but I'm not so fond with this Batman. Hope they change his design in the near future.

Using the water from the rain clouds...pretty creative.

Ugh, I don't like that they just keep introducing new characters, there should be a core in this. It's great nonetheless. And Jae Lee, woah!

And the evil Superman. I loved Earth-2 for the fact that it was new and interesting takes on a world without Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman. But Taylor has basically just brought them back in a different form.

As for Aquawoman, I wonder if the fact that she's black means that she'll be Kaldur'ahm's mom and he'll be introduced in this series? Because that would make me very happy.

I think the comic book industry needs more titles like these(Earth 2, Injustice), at least I would gladly read more of them, free of mutual continiuity with other titles and focused on a universal scale rather than certain characters. I loved Young Justice,JLU,Avengers: EMH because they seemed to have a variety of stories in them.

Sadly, I don't read E2, I don't enjoy it, the writing is something that didn't seem to connect with me, especially the dialogue.

This is why I love Earth 2 and more specifically, alternate universes

Looks cool but I really wished batman would've been someone else like you know dick grayson, the person they choose was kinda too obvious and Nicola Scott isn't on the issue bummer, anyway still love the book

James Robinson brought him back not Tom Taylor.

Such a good title. I think it's my favourite DC ongoing currently.

I didn't due to a combination of being Bat-focused and a scary pricetag. I know it's not Bruce and I have heard how this Batman is different, but to me, part of the appeal of Earth-2 was the absence of DC's Trinity and especially Batman that tends to overshadow everything else.

Note: also I dont find a more brutal Batman to be terribly interesting since we have seen it before. What would be an invention now would be Batman as a villain.

Earth 2 has been great since Tom Taylor took over. I love what he's doing.

prefer the jae lee cover to the interior art. perfer the aquawoman design on the cover too. i kept reading this article because i was curious about the character desgin and then saw the interior art was a recoloured Mera and lost interest.

I hope we can see Amazing-Man in this series. Also, I'm really digging Aquawoman, not too crazy about this Batman.

I love Aquawomans design and interested in her character.I actually want Auquawoman to be Kaldur 'ahms aunt instead of his mother or just have him on the main earth.

Love this book. Wish the Batman was a totally different character due to the power enhancer he uses but I hope that it's a foreshadow for this characters debut (I hope it's his son). It's my favorite DC ongoing along with Green Arrow, Action Comics, Superman/Wonder Woman, and The Flash.

I loved the annual. It was as if uncle Ben turned up to be alive all along and suddenly he is more than a line that gets repeated over and over.

Aquawoman's skin tone keeps changing. She is much darker in the cover, then we see her almost white to a lighter black.

I think Thomas Wayne Batman is awesome, not a big fan of Red Tornado Lois Lane

You're completely right. He did. This entire time I was under the impression it was Tyler. I guess I saw "miraclo" and "Rex" and assumed it was Tyler. I'm hoping that was a editorial mistake because why would Rex Mason have the drug and why would he be on Earth2? Ugh, if they put him on E2 in favor of Element Woman being in Prime Earth...actually come to think of it, I think Element Woman got her powers from Rex on Prime Earth? I gotta go back and see...now I'm just confused.

EDIT: This is from EW's wiki page:

She is invited by the Justice League to become a member. She makes reference to knowing Rex, known as Metamorpho.

Also I haven't bought any of Tom Taylor's run on the book yet. Is it worth buying or should I just end with James Robinson's last issue?

Really looking forward to seeing what Aquawoman can do! I've never read any comic with an "Aquawoman" in it but I'm guessing she's mostly just going to be like Mera though... Still, that's pretty exciting :P
