Exclusive Preview: C.O.W.L. #6

C.O.W.L. has telling the story of the first super hero labor union in Chicago. The story has been taking place in the 60s but we know there's more history to the organization and members. In this issue, we get to find out more about the founder of C.O.W.L., the hero formerly known as the Grey Raven. This issue also features period-fitting advertisements by up and coming artist, Jen Aprahamian. It's also the beginning of a new story arc.

After reading Multiversity Pax Americana, I don't think any book can beat that book and win Eisner Awards

@captainmarvel4ever: I was out of the country (and really stupidly didn't switch my phone over to international roaming)! I'm still catching up on comics from October, it's so weird.

@missj: compact and hairbrush set. That's sexist! Someone should raise a ruckus over this comic.

@g_man: (a) I bet there's a character who won't be too happy about that & (b) those might be real accessories, and that compact might be kinda cool IRL.

C.O.W.L. is pretty great.

I'm not in it for Eisners. I write the book because I want to tell a story that I'm passionate about.

@havok85h: well if you write for Big 2, money is most important factor...if you do comics creators own stuff then you can write story whatever you want withour editorial interference

But an Eisner would be pretty nifty, no?

This... the old-school vibe of this book and issue is pretty cool but the cover artist made a big mistake here: It should be 35¢ only!
