@saren: I wasn't happy about this story either. I take it as an elseworlds story because this was a pretty big lapse in judgement for the boy in blue.

It's essentially Superman having a mental breakdown and trying to be more of an edgyhardcorebadass than Punisher, Lobo and Batman all put together.

@saren: Isn't that the point of these stories though? It's not to make Superman edgy, it's non-canon Elseworld stories like Marvel's "What if" series to look at different directions a Superman can take.
