If you've been keeping up with DC's LEGION LOST series then you know that things have been quickly getting out of hand. The bio-terrorist Alastor has been causing havoc to the current DC Universe, and it's up to the LEGION to stop him. However, the team, which is stranded in time has left the duties of defeating Alastor entirely up to Dawnstar -- but will the heroine succeed?

Our team of time-stranded Legionnaires must do battle with Alastor, the hulking bio-terrorist who has unleashed his lethal future virus in the present-day DCU! But before they arrive on the scene, Dawnstar must try to survive the behemoth alone!

DC has given us an exclusive 4-page preview of the upcoming issue of LEGION LOST, written by Fabian Nicieza with art from Pete Woods and it is clear that the the disease created by Alastor is quickly spreading throughout the country, affecting man, woman and child -- turning them into monsters. Will Dawnstar defeat Alastor, or will she succeed? Will the LEGION arrive just in the nick of time?

Issue #5 of LEGION LOST hits store shelves on January 11th, 2012.

Is it me or does Dawnstar looks like Dani Moonstar from MU? =P

Nicieza start for the series was not his best work, but it looks like he will finish strong. Cannot wait for DeFalco.

This series aren't that bad,but the whole plot isn't that interesting.I don't know why others don't like this series so much.

Yeah the First Issue was the worst by far. It has kept getting better from there. 2 was better than 1, 3 then 2 and 4 over 3. 4 my favorite by far

I love this series. I'm a huge Legion of Super-Heroes fan and I'm glad that they got Legion Lost because we get to see some of the characters shine a bit more. It's a great series and I look forward to it next week.

I'm with you on that one. There is a lot of potential but they either need to focus on 2 or 3 lead characters and use the rest in supporting roles (Brainiac 5, Lighting Lad, Saturn Girl whatever) or they need to use the same ensemble treatment that the JSA uses. Every time I've read LOSH they've tried to mash the two styles together unsuccessfully.

She does, dut you also have to consider that both Dawnstar and Dani are native american, so I suppose that the artist may have used dani as a template she has a similar color scheme (for her costume) as well.
