I really like Pepe Larraz's work, reminds me of early Carlos Pacheco and Olivier Coipel.

Isn't Maximus, like, horribly evil or something?

Pepe Friggin' Laraz.

Added him to my list of favorite artists after his work on Deadpool vs. X-Force. Amazing work.

When I read he'd be doing an issue of Inhumans, I marked.

@medulaoblaganda: Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but ok.

Maximus has tried to take the throne and Medusa away from Black Bolt multiple times. And he recently released Thanos and the Black Order from their prison in New Avengers. And is helping them destroy parallel worlds. So yes...he is evil.

@humanrocket: Okay. I'm just wondering why the Inhumans seem to be constantly working with him, then.

@squares: Despite being in jail, Maximus does stop an assassination attempt on Medusa and during the Silent War story arc, he did aid Black Bolt in the efforts of the battle. And he was cured is his madness at the time, so the Inhumans felt that Maximus could be trusted, as his madness was to be blame for all the wrongs he committed.

@humanrocket: He doesn't seem to be completely evil. After Black Bolt's battle with Thanos, it was Maximus who helped him recuperate. Then he just seemed to have a complete personality change and join the Cabal and chain up his brother.

It was obvious Black Bolt wasn't dead. We saw him healing in New Avengers 12 then at a meeting in the next issue. This has been a terribly poor job of maintaining continuity and we're supposed to ignore the fact Black Bolt didn't bother telling his wife he was still alive before he was captured by Maximus.

finally the kind of art I appreciate. Mad is good, but I'd like a more realistic art for this book

told me people on this site a while ago to have faith in Soule, he will never be a let down

@j_hickmanisgod: That's not how it works, Marvel offered him a contract, and he decided to take it. Going exclusive is entirely up to the writer/artist. I'm sure DC would have loved to have had him, but it's clear Soule wanted to work with Marvel. Although I'm more of A DC guy, I'm actually happy that Marvel will finally have a writer I can completely trust.
