Back in May, Dynamite Entertainment announced the first crossover between Vampirella and Barnabas Collins from DARK SHADOWS. In that announcement we found out that Marc Andreyko will be writing with art by Patrick Berkenkotter and Fabiano Neves will provide the cover. We did get a look at the interiors but because it was still in an early stage, it was only penciled art (still pretty cool and worth checking out).

Today, Dynamite has given us an exclusive first look at the colored version of the interiors to get an idea what this epic crossover will be like.

DARK SHADOWS/VAMPIRELLA #1 will debut in August. Barnabas will be traveling to New York searching for a missing family friend. Events will soon result in his meeting with Vampirella. We'll have to wait and see if they meet as friends or foes.

The last Vampirella comic I saw was in Barnes and Noble, never read one before, then I read it.... so many boobs and blood. Making this the OG True Blood.

Please don't judge Dark Shadows by that horrible movie. The remake in the late 90s early 00s was alright, but nothing beats the original. Especially later in the series when they stopped trying to be serious and just ran with the supernatural.

I never watched the show, but doesn't take that to know that movie blows.

The interior art is absolutely gorgeous! Loves me some Vampy and Barnaby!

@CaioTrubat: Don't worry. Something tells me this comic will focus more on the TV series instead of the movie.
