I have been interested in Dynamite Entertainment's pulp books and liked the looks from the preview of The Owl I posted on my Blog. Nice to see an extended preview. I haven't read any of Red Sonja, I'm wondering if the new book will be a good jumping on point.

The Owl's preview makes the issue seem a lot better than the name of the title. Also i think Red Sonja is wearing too much armour. I know you need enough to protect your body but jeez she's so selfish wearing that much ;D

I'll give the Owl try.

I like the juxtaposition in the art styles between two times in the owl.

That's cool they are finally getting back to Project Superpowers, with The Owl.

So, I'm confused. Isn't the relaunched Red Sonja by Gail Simone coming out this month, as well? But there is still another Red Sonja ongoing by the same company? Are they putting out two Red Sonja titles? Are they connected at all?

Owl looks simply awesome! But that Red Sonja looks great, even if I'm a little "meh" if having Dracula in the story. But still, nice!
