Every great hero has a worthy nemesis. At last, the Spider’s great pulp-era enemy, The Fly, is reborn in the modern era. A wealthy playboy, with all the power and resources of his enemy, The Fly is as committed to the perfect crime as the Spider is to perusing justice. Determined to destroy the Spider before he can get in the Fly’s way, he issues his challenge, and the Spider must find a way to save a building full of innocent hostages while avoiding the tightening noose of the police. Now the Spider will have to face the one man who has the drive, the means and the intelligence to bring him down.

I wasn't sure if the Flash Gordon series was still going or not. Love the Alex Ross covers.

The Spider looks awesome.

All the Flash Gordon and Spider covers are brilliant.

I just wish Francavilla was doing the interior art as well. The Black Beetle is pretty cool!

Monologuing villains and dudes in brown undie pants and high collar armor half-shirts......the art on Sonja is pretty crap.....

I have been strongly disappointed with the spider, ever since they changed artists. I would never of thought that an artist would be the only reason i liked a comic, but I'm about ready to take the spider off my pull list. I just don't like the art any more.

I stopped soon as they took Colton Worley off art. The previews of all the issues since looked so mediocre. Worley really brought a dark and dangerous look to this book when he was on it.

Spider is great but I was far more into it when Worley was artist. Sonja's awesome, and I'm absolutely feeling that Zeitgeist issue. Great!

@GammaGirl: Yeesh! You're right, Comic Vine usually gives warning if they have to show something like! Eww.

Ok, I don't know if the series is any good, all I know is every Alex Ross cover makes me automatically go "FLASH!! AAaahhh!!" and that's a automatic win! :^)
