Yet another reason Dejah should wear armor, random needle injections when walking down creepy alley ways!

That panel of Dejah being injected with a needle is one of the more comical things I've seen all week.

Nice for a publisher to have found an identity, I suppose.

Why is dejah thoris in a room that is so modern and earth like? Such as the guy she is with and both of them wearing some kind of institution uniform . This supposed to be classic sci fi pulp with swords and nude princesses not borne identity or general hospital on mars. I wanted john carter to fight and kill his nemesis matai shang not get shot in the head what the hell. There better be a good twist or reason for that because this book takes too damn long to come out.

Dejah Thoris reminds me of an episode of Buffy...only with less clothes.

not gona lie, Warlord of Mars was my least favorite of the John Carter trilogy. it all seemed to wrap up too perfectly, but it looks like theyve made some changes to the comics, so it mite be worth a look

I've been wanting to read dynamite books for quite some time. Yeah I know what people say about them, but it's the characters that I'm interested in. My main problem though is with the pricing of the books. It's four dollars per book, and there's not near as much content. I look for them in trades just to find them as over priced in retail $25.00 for a six issue trade that's not even an inch thick? No thank you.

@delphic: I'm not sure why some of the Dynamite's comics are sold via those overpriced TPB but some (Army of Darkness / Red Sonja) are sold in uber cheap, and thick, omnibus editions where it can work out less than a $1 an issue.

@sheldipez: You can find them online for a reduced price, but if you go out to buy them at a local comic store, you're going to have to pay retail.
