EARTH 2: WORLD'S END is starting up soon. The first issue lands on October 8. It's another weekly title but focuses on Earth-2. From the sound of things, it doesn't mean good news for the inhabitants of Earth-2. I mean, the title alone is pretty foreboding.

DC has given us a first look at the cover to issue #4 by Ardian Syaf. Check it out.

So so ready for this. I'd say Marvel should be taking notes, but they're already ripping off DC for basically everything.

I know the new furies are named after the horsemen, but who was the original with the claws? Mad Harriet?

She looks like Lilith from the Midnight Sons got knocked up and strapped a sea urchin on her head. Maybe that's what they're going for? heh Either way, still creepy and weird.

@movieartman: 1) "The multiverse is collapsing!"

2) Book (Futures End, now Avengers/New Avengers) showing a dark future

3) Series about one of their popular teams in the year 3000 for some reason.

It's beyond obvious. Marvel is run by a bunch of hacks.

Obvious troll bait is obvious by the uninformed fanboy.

i am open minded towards new furies bc the old ones weren't great but i still think they leave a decent shoe to fill.

So what became of the old furies?

Not everyone has to be a Marvel fanboy to know that your statement and reasoning is absolutely ludicrous. If you're going to troll an article, get off of this site.

If this whole event ends with Earth 2 destroyed and its best heroes on the main earth i'll be so annoyed as it's one of my favorite titles.
Surely that's just too obvious with a title like 'Worlds End'

@holyserpent I also dislike how they are splitting the characters from Earth 2 I can't just follow the core characters in the main book.
Judging from the 1st issue solicit it sounds like DC is going all Ultimatum ''Death and destruction will follow each week, and you’ll never know who will live and who will die!''

@brinkthemoviemyfavoritemovie: Marvel and DC borrow from each other all the time.

Aquaman=Namor

Flash=Quicksilver

Hawkeye=Green Arrow

Superman=Sentry

Deadpool=Deathstroke

Not one of the companies has universally just copied the other, they both do it. As for the multiverse thing, that was set up a while back with Age of Ultron. You can even argue that Futures End is borrowing from it a bit, or even Days of Future Past. It's a pretty generic comic idea to send someone back in time to prevent something from happening in the future. It's happened in movies as well (Terminator, 12 Monkeys, etc). Ideas get rehashed and you just think one is ripping off the others most likely because you haven't followed comics as long as some others. To a lot of us, we see this stuff again and again and just say "whatever, let's see how they do it differently this time". Just chill and enjoy the comics, if not, then you're going to come off as a troll.

@idontlikebirds: I agree with you... but the only one in your list that DC "took" from Marvel was Namor/Aquaman, IIRC. The list isn't a great representative of your argument.

It was a quick list. It was all I could think up of off the top of my head. In Multiversity, DC even has a world with analogs of many Marvel characters.
