Partner. With Clint being more of a father/mentor role at times. She did check him out once though.

Mentor for sure on the marksman/vigilante tip. Father? Clint shows about the same maturity level as Kate but can't claim youth as an excuse. Feels more like brother/mentor to me.

Not at all. Clint has been "immature" before but only in the backdrop of characters like Captain America. He's always struck me as very mature, just hot-headed. He's also far from irresponsible. I can point to dozens of instances of him consistently being written as a mature character. Even under Lemire whose book is aimed at humanizing the character more, I don't see how he's on the same plane of maturity as an 21yr old girl. Even in Lemire's book there's a naivete attributed to Kate as she's bent on keeping those kid/alien/mutants away from SHIELD whereas Hawkeye had already weighed the risk behind it and the damage they were capable of, and even though he may have wanted to hold on to them as much as Kate, he knew it wasn't the right decision.

I mean, the character can let loose and have some video game playing, soda-pop drinking fun. Every human does. Even Cyclops (the universal stoic figure of the X-Men) and Xavier have issues where they let their guard down and just have fun. It isn't to take away from their maturity level, it just make the character more well-rounded.
