BATTLESTAR GALACTICA by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning launched this week. It takes the original characters and immediately makes your recall the old TV series. You can read our review for issue #1 HERE. This isn't just a re-telling of the original series. There's a bit of a twist in the first issue that will definitely make things interesting for the characters.

Dynamite Entertainment is also offering 'cute cover' variants drawn my the hilarious Chris Eliopoulos (COW BOY, FRANKLIN RICHARDS: SON OF A GENIUS). These are the 'subscription' variant covers. Here's an exclusive look at the cute cover for issue #4 along with the solicit information.

ugh

i'm a big fan of Calvin and his stuffed tiger buddy, but come on... this style is not what I enjoy in anything outside of a comic strip. If this comic was on my pull list I'd drop it because of this cover and seriously consider never spending another red cent on a dynamite product again.

It's a variant edition cover...So I really I don't see what all the fuzz is about.
